Home description

Attractively furnished spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has en suite facilities and its own balcony. The second bedroom has a separate toilet and shower. The main balcony is very large with a sea view, ideal for relaxing in the sun or enjoying your evening meal. The pool area has a large main heated pool, small shallow children's pool and a jacuzzi.
There is a good selection of restaurants and bars, some of which are on the sea-front. Go down by lift to the small supermarket and other handy shops. There is an excellent bus service to nearby San Blas, a new commercial area with banks, shops of all sorts, restaurants and evening entertainment. An ideal location for a family holiday, which can include golf, bowls, sailing, surfing and many other entertainments.

The Tenerife region

A year round sunny climate makes Tenerife an ideal family holiday island with sandy beaches, interesting towns and places to visit with many tourist trips available. Mount Teide is a must, ideally both by day and night with its year round snow capped peak. Los Christianos and Las Americas are both worth a visit for their entertainments and beaches. Hiring a car is well worthwhile to explore some of the picturesque villages and to find some of the excellent restaurants. The zoos are also worth going to. Candelaria is also an enjoyable and interesting place to visit, to see the historic statues and Cathedral. There are many other places of interest to explore.

Golf del Sur / Duquesa del Mar area

Golf del Sur, in the sunnier part of the island, has three nearby golf courses, flat green bowling, tennis, fishing, surfing and sailing all in the immediate vicinity. San Blas is a pedestrianised area with shops, restaurants and other facilities arranged in two squares with musical entertainment in the evening at some of the restaurants or quieter areas with excellent cuisine! El Medano is a very nice small town nearby with 2 beaches, one of which is ideal for wind-surfing. A good bus service if you don't wish to hire a car.

How to get there

Taxi from Reina Sofia Airport to Duquesa del Mar is a 10 minute drive costing approximately 15 euros.

Lift from ground level to apartment and pool area. Garage space in basement. Apartment is tastefully furnished and has music centre with many cds, t.v. with English programmes and DVD player and many dvds to view in the unlikely event of inclement weather. Also a good selection of books is available. Safe in main bedroom. All other modern conveniences as listed.

Conditions

Deposit of £50 per week is required on booking and holiday must be paid for in full 4 weeks before arrival. Our apartment is looked after by a couple who live on-site and they are always willing to help if you have any problems.

THE COST FOR THE APARTMENT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, OTHER THAN CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR, IS AS ABOVE FOR 2 PERSON OCCUPANCY. THERE IS AN EXTRA CHARGE OF £10 PER WEEK PER PERSON FOR 3 OR MORE PEOPLE FOR EXTRA LAUNDRY, CLEANING ETC.

EXTRA NIGHTS IF AVAILABLE COST £40 or £50 PER NIGHT DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF THE YEAR.
