This is a very well appointed large luxury apartment, in a quiet and private secure gated complex situated in an outstanding location nestling directly on the coastline, with easy access to two golf courses and within walking distance of local facilities.
This Aguamarina apartment is in a safe area that apart from being a golfer’s paradise also has local facilities that make it very suitable for families of all ages.
Nicely furnished and offering stunning views over the pools (which are heated in winter months) to the Ocean from the terrace, the facilities on site include adult and children’s pools, sea front restaurants and bars and secure parking.
Sleeping up to 6 people, it has two double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, large lounge with a convertible bed settee and fitted kitchen. Plus there are three bathrooms making it more comfortable and convenient when 6 people are in occupation.
The main terrace has truly magnificent views and is ideal for al-fresco dining and enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching boats meandering by on the Ocean.
A free internet access area is available within the complex, plus most of the bars in the area have WiFi and there is no charge for this; they just expect you to buy a coffee or something when using the facility. It's a great excuse for having a drink instead of doing the washing up!
If you require more Wi-Fi flexibility, then we have a little pen drive device that you can simply plug into a USB port on your laptop and you will be able to have unlimited internet access in the apartment, round the pool, on a beach and virtually everywhere else in Tenerife. We charge 25 Pounds per week for this go anywhere unlimited internet access to help towards our costs of contracting this from Telefonica. It works extremely well with no appreciable loss of speed from an ADSL connection. This device is subject to availability at the time and must be booked in advance.
The complex is located in a tranquil, lager lout free area that is safe for children. A trip to see the coastal underwater world can be taken on the Yellow Submarine that is moored in the Marina situated right by the complex. That could be followed by a good meal or just a drink in one of the restaurants along the promenade that offer all types of cuisine, catering for the young as well as the not so young.
The apartment is ideally situated for golf courses, close to shops, restaurants, bars and a short stroll along the seafront promenade to Los Abrigos with its charming harbour and fish restaurants. Other facilities like Green Bowls, Tennis and Horse Riding are available locally for your enjoyment. Plus of course, with two golf courses on the doorstep, this is a golfer’s paradise, but the rest of the family also have plenty to do to occupy their day.
All facilities imaginable are available in the nearby resort towns of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos, which are just a fifteen minute drive away and also accessible by the very reliable local bus service.

Strictly no smoking inside the apartment, but smoking on the outside terrace is acceptable, provided cigarette ends are not irresponsibly discarded.
30% deposit required at time of booking with the balance of the rental fee to be paid eight weeks before your arrival.
Refundable breakages deposit of £100 to be paid with the balance of the rental fee. (This will be refunded subject to satisfactory property inspection).
The apartment is normally available for occupation after 15:00 (3-00pm) on day of arrival and vacation of the villa is to be by 11:00 (11-00am) on the day of departure. For times outside of this please enquire and we will try to be flexible if we can.
Normal change over day is a Friday, but other days will be considered.
Cot, High Chair, Mobility Scooter etc., can be arranged. Please enquire for details.

Considered a haven away from the cares of the western world, this sub-tropical island of perpetual sunshine forms the southernmost part of Europe making it one of the most perfect locations in the world, lying in the Atlantic Ocean on the same latitude as Bermuda and Florida.
In a survey by NASA, the US aeronautics and space agency, the climate in the Canary Islands and the south of Tenerife in particular is officially stated as being one of the best in the world.
There is no doubt that Tenerife's benevolent all year round climate, vast range of facilities and exhilarating atmosphere make it an extremely attractive destination for holidays.
While the beaches are packed with tourists defrosting, some head for the hills and enjoy the snow that sometimes falls on the summit of mount Teide, Spain's highest mountain; it is a beautiful winter wonderland, and such a contrast to basking on the beaches below! Winter in Tenerife is a fabulous time.
Tenerife maintains a relatively steady warm temperature throughout the year, and this is because it is a small island near the equator. The sea ensures that we don’t get too hot, whereas our location near the equator ensures we don’t get too cold either.
Although many destinations may claim to provide winter sun, or advertise that it is the ideal place to top up your summer tan, often the hype is misleading and nowhere else in Europe can compete with Tenerife for reliable all year round sunshine.
The Golf del Sur / Aguamarina area
Lying on the coastline between the airport and Playa de las Americas and adjacent to Amarilla Golf, Golf del Sur is an area that is a perfect example of Tenerife’s re-branding into a luxury holiday destination. With a 27 hole golf course, the Club House has facilities which include a driving range, putting green, pro shop, tennis courts, bar and a magnificently imposing restaurant. The adjacent Amarilla Golf course hosts a further 18 holes.
Close by on the borders of the two golf urbanisations there is the new marina which has room for 325 berths for boats over 10 metres in length. The marina attracts sailing boats, providing a base for sailing holidays and is Tenerife’s largest yachting facility. Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf have together been declared an area of National Touristic Interest making it one of the primary areas of Tenerife.
From the championship golf courses, a player will enjoy the best possible views of the snowy peak of the majestic mount Teide, Spain’s highest mountain and needless to say, the Atlantic Ocean provides a spectacular backdrop to the game. It is a golfer’s paradise to tread where some of the greats of golf have won and lost, and by the 5th hole on the Amarilla course the distinction between ocean and fairway becomes indistinct, as the player’s skills are tested with a drive over a particularly ambitious water feature… the Atlantic Ocean!
The area is easily accessed from the motorway and new roads linking Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf have made walking or driving between them much more convenient. From here, buses run directly to Playa De Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Los Abrigos and Santa Cruz. Golf del Sur is a short 10 minute drive to Reina Sofia International Airport and a similar length of time to Las Américas.

* Aguamarina is just a few kilometres and a 10 minute drive from the Reina Sophia (Tenerife South) airport, which receives direct flights from all the major UK airports.
* Most of the budget airlines offer cheap flights to Tenerife South airport (TFS) and probably the most comfortable flight from the UK is with Monarch Airlines in their extra leg room seats located in the first 8 rows of the aircraft.
* There is always an abundance of taxis waiting at the airport and fares are metered. The cost of a taxi to the property should be around 15 Euros.
* If you require help to hire a car before your departure, for it to be waiting for you at the airport when you arrive, then just let us know and we will be pleased to assist you.

Great communications with Bruce. Apartment is as described. Great for golf courses I would recommend Golf del sur before Amirillo del sur in much better condition although a little more expensive. You get what you pay for. Local restaurants are all very good. Aqualand, Jungleland Siam park,Loro parque,tiede all easily accessible by car. Great to have parking space at the apartment. Children loved the pools that were spotlessly clean. Bruce allowed us to leave a little bit later on our date of departure which was very kind and thoughtful and helped us greatly with a 6 and 13 year old. Visited Pancake house and Wild Geese which are nearby and had very enjoyable times in both. I would hope to visit again in the near future. Thank you again. From the moment we booked, till the moment we arrived, everything ran like clockwork. Bruce was very helpful with any queries we had. It was our first time in this area and without a doubt we will be back. The apartment was spotless. Two good sized bedrooms and three showers and a lovely bright living/kitchen area that was more than adequate for four of us.It was great being able to wash the beach towels (that were provided, another bonus!) halfway through the week and being able to dry our washiing overnight on the dryer on the balcony. The long, angled balcony meant that our teenage girls had access from their bedroom as we did in the other room, and then we could also sit and admire the pool and the azure sea from the living area. The table and chairs and four sun loungers ensured plenty of lazy sunny lunches watching over the pool area. The pool area again was spotless, cleaned every morning and more than ample sun loungers for everybody. We didn't hire a car as we were only there one week, but we made use of the local bus (again excellent) and we also walked to Los Abrigos for a lovely fresh fish lunch. The nearby shops and restaurants were great. Couldn't fault any of them. Loved The Wild Geese, The Pancake place (a daytime favourite) and Bistro 27 (probably our favourite evening meal, if we had to pick one!). Also had takeaway Chinese, eaten in the comfort of the apartment, as the girls wanted a quiet night in front of the TV! All in all, a fab holiday and cannot believe I am still having to face snow now I'm home in Scotland. Looking forward to returning to this gorgeous apartment. We've just returned from a a relaxing weeks stay in the apartment and were very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment and the surrounding communal areas. The apartment is within walking distance of some fabulous eating places. We ate at Dabda ,wine and tapas bar , highly recommended , Rendezvous at the WInter Gardens , EL Nautica , and for a great afternoon treat of pancakes and cream ,the Pancake Cafe just in front of the apartments . The heated pool was a great way to spend a relaxing day enjoying the sun while we watched the temperatures drop in Scotland . We hired a car for our stay and visited Los Gigantes and Peurto de la Cruz. The parking space was a great bonus ,as parking is very limited in the area. We will certainly recommend the apartment to our family and friends and will book again. Many thanks .
