The apartment is ideally located, situated within close proximity to the newly developed marina and although Golf del Sur is a quieter resort than the well known popular Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos (10Km away).
There is a good choice of bars, shops and excellent restaurants to choose from within a very short walking distance (200yards), including two Italian restaurants, a Mexican, two steakhouses and a Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant, which is one of the best in Tenerife. There is also a choice of two supermarkets, one of which is adjacent to the complex.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife has an all year round stable and warm climate. The north and the south of Tenerife have completely different climatic conditions, there can be as much as 5 degrees difference between them. This is mainly due to the old volcano of Mount Teide which separates the island in two.
There are more hours of sunshine all year in the South and more rainfall and higher humidity in the North, which explains the different landscapes and tones of the countryside, although both climates can generally be considered very pleasant.
Golf del Sur / Duquesa del Mar area
Golf - Tenerife is one of Europe’s top golfing destinations and for very good reason, the courses are dramatic, excellent quality and challenging and the climate is all year round (See more details about golf courses on our website.)
Spa - Next door to the Duquesa del Mar complex, you will find a lovely Health Club & Beauty Spa, facilities includiing Sauna, Jacuzzi and Steam Bath together with a fully equipped gym, the daily rate is just €5 Euros.
Bowls - For those of you that enjoy a game of bowls, then look no further than championship floodlit bowling green right next door to our apartment complex, whether you are arranging an overseas bowls trip for your local club or you just fancy a few ends in the sun, this is a great place to visit.
Bars, Shops and Restaurants - A 15 minute walk will bring you to San Blas commercial centre where you will find three picturesque squares each with an array of boutiques, good quality bars and restaurants, banks, a doctor, a chemist, a large supermarket and an internet café.
There are plenty of bars to choose from where you will be greeted warmly by the locals. Friends bar with it’s popular happy hour, chatty bar staff, quizzes and karaoke has always been a favourite. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy K’s Bar which shows all the major sporting events. Most of the bars have some evening entertainment but the top and main squares also have their own outside singers and dancing acts.
The restaurants in San Blas are too many to mention but it’s worth highlighting that some of the quieter (and some might say more classy) restaurants are out the back of the main square which many people can miss. Here you will find Golf Del Sur’s only nightclub, Taboos with music and drinking until the early hours.
How to get there
Fly to Reina Sofia Airport (South) - Golf del Sur is only 10 mins drive from the airport. Cheaper flights are available from www.flymonarch.com, www.flythomascook.com and www.skyscanner.net.
Car hire also available from www.mycarhirespain.com - Local bus service and taxis run regularly, a taxi from the airport will typically cost 15 euros. - Several bars, shops and restaurants to choose from in the resort.

Further details indoors: The apartment itself is beautifully furnished to a very high standard and comes with plenty of “home from home” comforts that you would expect from a 5 star resort. The kitchen has all the usual facilities including a washing machine, microwave and fridge freezer.
In the lounge there are 2 two seater sofas, one of which converts to a double bed for extra guests and in the lounge there is a 32" LCD TV with UK Satellite channels, including BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Ch4, Ch5, Sky Sports and Movie channel, there is also a DVD Player and a HD Media Player and hard drive with over 100 top films to enjoy. Other facilities include a PS2 with a selection of games together with an Ipod station.
The two bathrooms are very useful when the apartment has four occupants and apart from more space they also offer more privacy too, there is a shower in one of the bathrooms and a bath/shower in the other.
The spacious bedroom comes complete with a very comfortable double bed (there is also a cot available upon request), plenty of clothes storage including chest of drawers and fitted mirrored wardrobes and there is access out to the sun terrace through the sliding patio doors, there is also a coded safe to store personal belongings.
Further details outdoors: The development is considered to be one of the most exclusive developments in the area, security is good with coded access points to the front and rear together with CCTV cameras for added peace of mind.
The apartment is south facing and has a large sun terrace to the front and both sides of the property, the terrace has the benefit of two large sun canopies if shade is preferred and is surrounded by a small walled garden which provides extra privacy. There is a small gate leading out to the heated swimming pool, children’s pool and heated Jacuzzi all of which are only a few paces away.
For those people who wish to hire a car during their visit, the property comes complete with and underground garage parking space, which is accessible by a remote controlled electric roller shutter door and there is a lift up to our apartment. For more info please enquire.

Internet access is available at extra cost, this is with a high speed USB Broadband dongle for those guests that wish to take their laptops with them.

We will always try to accommodate people and offer as much flexibility as possible can with regards to bookings, we normally hold a booking open for a 24 hour period for you, whilst you confirm your flight arrangements.
