Off road parking for 4 cars. Large lawned garden with decked area and garden furniture. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minutes’ walk. Beach 1 mile.

The Goleen area
Situated in the south-west of Ireland, the village of Goleen in County Cork offers four pubs, four shops, a petrol station and a fast food restaurant. This popular holiday spot is just a mile away from the large sandy beach at Barleycove, whilst a little further along is the local visitors centre at Mizen Head. Set against a backdrop of rocks and high cliffs, visitors can enjoy the Signal Station - situated on an island and accessed by an arched bridge – which offers a shop, cafe and exciting exhibitions. Other activities in the area include golf, horse riding, walking, angling, sailing or diving, whilst further a field the market town of Skibbereen is home to a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs.

Guestbook for 2398 - Laurel Cottage
The owners gave a fabulous welcome with a fire lit, tea and coffee and cakes and scones. The field in front of the house was great for kids to play safely and the cottage was a short distance from a fabulous beach.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
