Large 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, fully self-contained and Air Conditioned apartment in Surfers Paradise.
The holiday apartment is on the 5th floor of the Silverton resort overlooking the Nerang River and has breathtaking views in all directions (see photo's), west river front views looking over the Isle of Capri and on towards the Hinterland, North towards Surfers Central and East to the Coral Sea.
There is full dining facilities inside, or outside on the large balcony which ever you prefer.
28 Silverton is an easy 2-minute walk to the safety of patrolled golden beaches, and a short 8 minute stroll to central Surfers (800 metres) where you can shop, dine or enjoy a cappuccino.

Climate
The subtropical Gold Coast enjoys plenty of sunshine, an average of 300 days each year. Winters are mild and dry and summers can be quite warm, with most rain falling in brief stormy showers in the late afternoon or evening.

There is so much to do locally and with a bus stop just outside the resort door it's easy to get there and back. The buses go to theme parks, malls etc in fact the entire length of the goldcoast. You may enjoy a relaxing round of golf, there are over 40 local courses to pick from see locations on map. At night you can relax with the home theater or go out and enjoy the fabulous nightlife that Surfers Paradise has to offer, wonderful restaurants, cabarets, nightclubs or Jupiter's casino.

How to get there
Brisbane Airport is about 1 Hour drive (80km) North from Surfers Paradise by Rental Car or Bus Transfer via the motor way.
Gold Coast Airport is about 30 minute drive (20km) South from Surfers Paradise by Rental Car or Bus Transfer.
Passport and Visa Travellers to Australia need a valid passport. Visas are required by all visitors travelling to Australia except for New Zealand passport holders. If you are planning a holiday visit or a short business trip to Australia, you will need to apply for either a visa or an ETA (Electronic Travel Authority). An ETA will let you spend up to three months in Australia.
Claiming Back Tax The Tourist Refund Scheme enables visitors to claim a refund of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Wine Equalisation Tax (WET) paid on goods while visiting Australia.
To claim a refund you must: Spend $300 or more (GST inclusive), in the one store and get a single tax invoice. Buy goods no more than 30 days before departure. Wear or carry the goods on board the aircraft of ship and present them along with your tax invoice, passport and international boarding pass to a Customs Officer at a TRS facility.
Driving International driving licenses are recognised, provided the information contained on it clearly indicates the types of vehicles you are licensed to drive in your home country.

Further details outdoors: Silverton's heated pool's and spa are right bedside the Nerang river, once you have finished relaxing in the water you can use the sun loungers under the palm trees or sun umbrella's while reading a book or watching the river activities. Silverton also has it's own pontoon so bring your fishing gear and see what you can catch. It's also great for getting the water taxi especially during Christmas holidays and Indy 300.
You may enjoy a game of tennis on Silverton's full size tennis court, complementary tennis rackets and balls are in the apartment.
On the basement level you will find the gym which has recently had all the equipment replace. The basement level also has the steam rooms, games room (pool and table tennis) and access to the secure car park.
Internet facilities can be found on the ground floor.
Across the road you will find a convenience store, bottle store, takeaways and restaurants.
Conditions
All bookings require a holding deposit of 25% of the total value of your accommodation or $200.00 (whichever is the greatest)within 2 weeks of placing booking. The outstanding balance is payable 2 weeks prior to arrival except for Christmas bookings which must be paid 1 month prior to arrival.
A $500.00 bond is required on all holiday bookings. This can be paid by cash, money order and will be held in our Trust Account. This will be refunded to you, once an inspection has been carried out after you have departed. Alternatively, credit card details can be given and held by our office for security purposes. If after your departure and subsequent inspection, any costs incurred will be deducted from same.
