The Turkish Aegean Coast region
With over 300 days of sunshine, stunning mountain scenery, turquoise blue waters & white sandy beaches, this area of Turkey will truly amaze you.
There is a real green & lush feel for the area. Agriculture is still the main industry of the area, with farmers offering their produce at local markets. Try fresh figs, oranges, pomegranates, lemons etc. all picked fresh.
The area is also known for its ancient sites, from ruined cities like Pinara, Myra & Xanthos, to Lycian tombs carved into the rocks. A drive around the area will reveal many ancient sites & settlements, with vast tracts of open countryside to explore.
Visit any area & you will meet friendly locals who simply cannot do enough to make you welcome.
The beaches are a must, with many boasting the EEC blue flag.
Also a boat trip is not to be missed, with swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing off the boat.
This area really does have something for everyone. Come & enjoy it, find out yourselves, & we are sure you will return again & again.
Gocek has changed over recent years, from a very small fishing village, to an upmarket large village, with yacht marinas, boutique shops, top quality restaurants, bars etc. It still however retains its traditional roots & feel, with boatyards still making traditional wooden boats, small 'cottage' industries producing clothes & crafts, farming & traditional markets etc.
A walk along the sea front is a must at any time. In the evening it becomes a truly international meeting point, with yacht & boat crews from all over the world eating & drinking in the many bars & restaurants overlooking the sea.
Other large towns to visit nearby include Fethiye (25km), Dalyan (45 km) or even Istanbul (1.5 hrs flight from Dalaman).
A bit of internet research will reveal so many things to do in the area. Come and see!

"One of the best villas we have ever stayed in"
Villa Biber was a really lovely villa with a beautiful pool and decking area. The villa was well equipped and the air conditioning and fans were vital in the heat. The owner sent us some information about local trips which was very helpful. We especially liked the 12 island boat trip from Gocek. We would love to go back and explore the surrounding area more.

"Excellent villa in lovely private setting"
Fantastic family holiday. The villa is excellent in a private location not overlooked. Close to gocek. The villa has everything you could need. The owner sent us information on car hire and local trips. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend this villa to everyone.

"Lovely villa with great views and in a quiet location"
We rented the villa to relax after a weeks flotilla sailing and it was just what we needed. The location was easy to find and the views from the bedroom windows out to the bay were wonderful. The pool was ideal for dipping into during the day and the air conditioning a great advantage in the heat.
The space in the property was lovely with four great bedrooms giving everyone their own space to relax and chill. We could have had a party of 8 in comfort and not been getting in each others way.
Sitting out on the balcony watching the sun go down with a cool drink in your hand - fantastic!

"A lovely villa and location"
Spent week with partner and 4 children aged 12 to 21. Villa was plenty big enough for us, very well equipped with lovely pool which was cleaned every morning. Superb views from balconies of 2 bedrooms. One of best features is the natural shelter around the pool and decking area, as heat is intense at this time of year. Air conditioning throughout was excellent too.
David the owner was also extremely communicative and helpful with information leading upto the holiday, which was another big plus.
Gocek itself was lovely, especially if you turn right at the marina and follow the bay.

"fantastic villa and town"
Our 1st trip ever to Turkey had us looking at the usual places such as Mamaris,Bodrum and Olu Deniz...we were flexible in where we would stay,it was just a matter of seeing that one villa that stood out,the one that feels right when you read the reviews etc....obviously it is always a gamble even when you do choose the villa of your choice, but in our case our "gut feeling","the one that stood out" paid off..
We arrived late and were met by the house manager Gengis who was most obliging,David the owner had arranged a welcome pack which was there waiting for us,and boy did we need it after a 4 hour flight and landing in 33 degree temperatures ,10 oclock at night ,the cold drinks were especially welcome.
The villa itself is spacious, clean, airy and very homely, nicely furnished with a lovely lovely pool and area.
We spent a lot of time in and around the pool area, during the day and strolled into town when it cooled slightly, which took about 20 mins and grabbed a taxi back which cost 15 lira.
Gocek is still very Turkish, probably the nicest harbour/Marina we have been to,and the bay itself has apparantly been voted the 3 nicest bay in the world(National Geographic)..a boat ride for the day is not to be missed and very good value.
Gocek has a lovely feel, nice cafe's ,places to eat,it wasnt overly busy,a really nice atmosphere.
Special mention to the owners of a small shop just a 5 minute walk away, lovely people, and a great little shop selling fresh bread, fruit and veg etc we got all our supplies everyday off them...
A holiday we will remember ,would i go again??Pass me the booking form please!!

"Beautiful high standard villa, well maintained in a quiet area close to a beautiful harbour with lovely restaurants."
We have used the villa a number of times over the pst few years and it has only got better each time, the villa is beautiful, clean,we'll maintained. The villa is in a quiet area with a really nice pool and decked area for relaxing, the terrace is ideal for cooling off relaxing and enjoying a barbecue. The area has really nice shops and restaurants with good value for money, we especially enjoyed the restaurant "natural" , a family owned a run restaurant with good value and they even delivered. We have had some really special times in turkey and Villa Biber has been the best we have stayed in anywhere, which is why we keep going back.
The villa is close to the airport, the locals are friendly, the food is very good and if you like sight seeing you travel to some really nice sights, ancient ruins and beautiful beaches.
