The aim of the Kalimche development was to conserve the existing vegetation and blend naturally with the environment for which it won a national award. The villas' modern and unique design is based on the traditional Turkish 'Ula/Mugla' style. There are spectacular views from the villa's terrace over Gocek bay. The semi-detached villa is built into the hillside and is a 20-minute walk from Gocek sea-front.

The villa is in a very quiet area and has a south facing garden, balcony with a table and chairs and patio area. If you are driving, there is parking to the rear of the house.
There is a sizeable shared swimming pool (34mx9) with children's pool and sun loungers. The gardens and pool are generally quiet. The majority of the villas are owned by wealthy Turks who only visit for two weeks a year.
My name is Jasmin and I manage the house. I have worked in travel in Turkey for 19 years and have an in-depth knowledge of the area and its attractions. I live and work in Gocek, and would be delighted to help with any aspect of the holiday, including transfers and/or car hire, advice on days out etc. Alternatively, if guests wish to be completely private and self-sufficient, I can be invisible!
The Turquoise Coast/Lycia region
Known in antiquity as Lycia, the ancient sites of Pinara, Xanthos, Tlos, Cadianda, Letoon and Patara are well worth a visit and all within an hour's drive.
The deserted Greek village of Kayakoy. The subject of Louis de Berniere's book 'Birds without Wings'. Kaya is best seen in the evening when its evocative cobbled streets and crumbling houses look ethereal in the setting sun.
Visit Fethiye's Tuesday market and eat fresh fish at the permanent bazaar.
Drive to the beaches at Olu Deniz (45 mins), Yaniklar (20 mins), Inlice (5 mins), Gocek Island (15 mins by boat from harbour).
Dalyan delta (40 mins) - take a boat ride along the river and marvel at the magnificent 4th Century BC rock tombs and wander around the ancient city of Caunos. Cruise along the beautiful Koycegiz Lake. Have the dubious pleasure of being caked in warm mud at Dalyan's famous mud baths. End the day with a leisurely swim at Iztuzu's 5km sandy beach.
Gocek is situated at the north west corner of the Gulf of Fethiye, which in antiquity was known as the Gulf of Glaukos after the famous Lycian general who fought in the Trojan Wars. This small, up-market, marina town is blessed with a magnificent setting, backed by mountains and pine forests, and looks out over the tiny islands scattered over the gulf known as the Twelve Islands. There are daily boat tours aroun these unspoilt islands.
There are no mainstream package-tour operators in Gocek - the town caters predominantly for the yachting community and independent visitors. Gocek’s guests come either from the yachts and boats in the harbour or the handful of boutique hotels and villas in the region. This makes for an eclectic mix of visitors of all nationalities.
The many waterside restaurants, cafés and bars provide a laid-back atmosphere where you can happily wile away a day watching the world go by.
In the backstreets and around the town square there is a surprising array of shops - colourful greengrocers, fascinating art and craft shops, carpet bazaars, exclusive jewellery shops and designer boutiques.
A 20-minute drive into the surrounding mountains is unforgettable – you are instantly transported from the modern world back to another era. The road climbs through an Arcadian landscape with olive groves, pine forests and tiny hamlets where the slow pace of life continues as it has for thousands of years.
