Note: This cottage is just off the road, and traffic noise can be heard.

The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is the largest in the country covering nearly 800 square miles. For many it epitomises the English rural scene with splendid towns and pretty villages growing out of a truly “English” landscape - green meadows, rolling hills and tree lined valleys.
The Gloucester / Cambridge, Gloucester area
Not to be mistaken with the city of the same name, the lovely village of Cambridge in Gloucestershire is well situated with excellent links to the Cotswolds. A very short drive away is the Slimbridge Wetlands centre, which aims to care for and study ducks and geese from around the world. Visitors can enjoy the wildlife in one of 16 hides positioned to overlook the fields, streams and lakes bordering the River Severn and the canal. For views that reach a little further, The Sloane Observation Tower allows you to see the Cotswolds in the east and the River Severn and Forest of Dean in the west. The Cotswold Way canal is close by for walking and boat hire, whilst visitors can enjoy the historic centres of Cheltenham, Bristol and Bath, all just a short drive from this pretty village location.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
