The Central England/Cotswolds region

Regency Cheltenham and the magnificent university town of Oxford are also within striking distance (about 40 mins drive) although it is possible to catch the train from Kingham station, the next village, which will take you into Oxford in 20 mins or London in 1 hr 45mins. All round a gorgeous location.

Gloucester

Cranham is a small Cotswold village located approx 2 miles from the stunning village/town of Painswick (on the 'Cotswold Way') where you will find a selection of pubs and shops to enjoy. Cranham has a small pub, but there are many other excellent pubs nearby. Alternatively you may wish to consider many other local places of interest including the Rococo Gardens, Cheltenham Spa town, or the plethora of local villages found in this stunning region of the Cotswolds.
