Set in a commanding position overlooking the main basin of Gloucester Docks, with a Juliet balcony opening to stunning panoramic views of the water and the surrounding countryside, the Lock Penthouse enjoys a prime location within Gloucester Docks. The modern, premium specification of the apartment includes Granite worksurfaces, Italian designer sink, taps and cooker hood, a Fisher and Paykel dual drawer dishwasher and a walk in shower in the main bedroom ensuite.
Other features include heated towel rails, Porcelanosa tiles, tapware and sanitaryware, a fully fitted kitchen by Paula Rosa with integrated Neff appliances – including a six burner flush mounted induction hob and twin oven. The apartment also features a free standing American style Fridge Freezer incorporating a wine storage compartment and a Miele washer/dryer.
A total of 950 sq ft in size, the apartment contains two double bedrooms and a small utility/study room. The main bedroom contains a King size bed and has an ensuite bathroom featuring a walk in shower. The second bedroom contains a Super King size bed and the main bathroom enjoys a large (1800 x 800) bath with shower over the bath. Each bathroom also features a heated pad to prevent mirrors from steaming up when showering, as well as a shaver socket.
The lounge area contains two leather sofas which form a corner unit seating 6 people. There is also a Barcelona chair, a wide-screen television compliment and coffee side/tables in this area. A dining area contains a dining table which can seat up to 6 people. The furnishings are contemporary in style to match the stylish, modern nature of the apartment and surrounding environment. The study contains a desk and chair in case you need to catch up on any work during your break.
The Lock Penthouse is located on the 5th floor of the Lock Warehouse, a recently converted and restored Victorian former Grain Warehouse. The conversion of the building has been to a high level of specification, reflecting the exclusive quality of the building and location. Although modern amenities such as a lift have been installed, wonderful original features such as massive oak beams, exposed brickwork and original cast iron columns have been preserved. The building contains a unique juxtaposition of historic features and amenities for modern living.
Gloucester Docks is the perfect city break destination. There are a number of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby to choose from. These include Mexican, Italian, American, Chinese and Thai cuisine. The Gloucester Quays Designer outlet centre is a two minute walks though the Docks with a wide array of shops selling discounted designer brands including L.K Bennet, Nike, Calvin Klein Austin Reed, Hawes & Curtis, Hush Puppy, Le Crueset. and many more. There is also a newly opened 6 screen Cinema (including 3D) and a 24 hour Gym within the Quays complex. The gym can be used on a day-to-day basis for a small fee without any need for membership.
Access to the common areas of the Lock Warehouse is via a key or code, assuring security. The building also has a video entry system for entry by visitors. There is allocated parking at a secure area a short walk from the building which is for the exclusive use of the Lock Warehouse. There is also a loading bay just outside of the building where you can park for a short period in order to load and unload.

A returnable deposit of £100 is required. This will be returned after the holiday assuming everything is left in order. Please note that the property contains high quality fittings and furnishings which guests are asked to treat with respect. Guests are expected to take responsibility for the actions of any children in their party. Any damage will be deducted from the deposit or will need to be paid for prior to leaving the property.
