The property is in the centre of Hadfield village with bakery,butcher, chemist & supermarket chip shops, take-aways and pubs. There is a ten-pin bowling alley and a snooker hall and cycle hire. Stunning scenery with walks around the reservoir and surrounding countryside. Two minutes walk from the railway station with trains to Glossop and Manchester.
Glossop is only a few minutes away by car (or train) and offers a variety of shops and numerous places to eat.
Nearby attractions Chatsworth House, Buxton with it's many attractions or a trip into Manchester browsing the many shops. Lyme Park is only 30 minutes by car and is well worth a visit.
Hadfield was also the location for Royston Vasey (League of Gentlemen).
