Waterfront property in stunning and tranquil location. This house has a 5 star specification through out with 4 large bedrooms each with privacy of walk in wardrobes. It is set on 1 acre of mature lush gardens to the front and rear, there is a terraced aspect which affords spectacular views to the sea and islands. There are wonderful indoor and outdoor areas with exquisite views making it perfect for luxury vacations. The water front aspect is onto a shallow protected part of Glengarriff Harbour. This is superb for launching the kayaks which can be pulled from the front garden into the sea. The house is 3600 sq ft and has oak beams,oak floors, luxury fitted kitchen with granite island and worktops plus Aga cooker. There are seperate wood burning stoves in both the TV room and lounge. The upstairs bedroom has a balcony velux window. There is also extensive out door lighting with seperate patio and verandah court yard areas. Barbeque and kayaks supplied but not wet suits or lifejackets

Booking Terms & Conditions
A non returnable 20% deposit by transfer is required to con
firm the booking.
Balance to be received 8 weeks prior to arrival but if booked within the 8
weeks, then the full amount will be due to confirm.
A €500.00 security deposit is required and will be refunded within 10 days
of the end of your holiday assuming no damage or excesses.
The House will be available from 16:00 hours on the day of your ar
rival and must strictly be vacated by 10:00 on your departure date
(unless expressly agreed with us by prior arrangement). If no-one is in
there before / after you, we are very accommodating. It is a very large
House and the cleaners need several hours to make it ready.
We make every effort to ensure that the house is of the highest
standard and that all appliances and equipment function perfectly. In the
unlikely event of any appliance failure every effort will be made to re
place or repair it during your stay but this is the extent of our liability.
Your safety is extremely important and we make every effort to ensure
our House is perfectly safe. However, we can accept no liability for
any accidents occurring in the house or around the gardens. If you
have any special needs or concerns please advise us at the time of booking.
Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance and we recommend you obtain
an E111 form from the post office

Eating out:: There are several restaurants in Glengarriff, they serve a wonderful selection of food from fine dinning in the Martello Room to casual food in the Hawthorn. All serve a superb selection of fresh fish cooked in various different styles. The Park Bistro is to be recommended.
The world famous Kenmare is a gastronomic delight and is teeming with superb restaurants including the The Park Hotel, The Sheen Falls, The Lyme Tree and Darcy's Oyster Bar to name but a few.
Bantry is also full of wonderful restaurant's such as the Fish Kitchen, O'Connors and the Sea Cloud.
Night Life:: Although a small village, we have eight pubs all of which have complimentary traditional entertainment at night. Crack agus Ceoil guaranteed.
Activities: There are a huge amount of activities to be enjoyed in the surrounding area including Kayaking, sailing, fishing (sea, shore and fresh water), Golf, Walking and Cycling to name but a few. There are three seperate nature reserves within 1 km of Glengarriff village, one of which has five spectacular walks to suit all abilities.

Specialises in locally sourced products prepared with French flair. Open’s for Lunch and Dinner. Be aware that they do not accept credit or debit card’s. The food is excellent.
Casey’s Hotel 02763010
Excellent locally sourced meet and sea food in a timeless semi formal setting. The restaurant is all carpets and silver ware, I always feel like it is stuck in the 70’s but with great food.

"Gem of a place in Glengarrif"
We spent five weeks in Ireland and rented several houses across the country. This house was one of our favorites. The view from the property was amazing, if only the weather had been more accommodating! Noreen, the manager, was responsive and pleasant. The house itself was spacious and modern, but still charming. We were two families with young children (including newborn baby and it was a perfect location for us to spend time together. The outdoor garden and trampoline were a hit. The kitchen was huge and an excellent gathering space. The sitting room was large, yet cozy and provided the spectacular view of Bantry Bay. All bedrooms were large and ensuite, and the layout was particularly good for our needs (keeping newborn with parents in a separate side of the house so as not to awake the others). Glengarrif itself is a picturesque village and the house was walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Even though it was a rainy week, we found plenty to do and when housebound, had plenty of space to still enjoy. We would highly recommend this place to those looking to explore West Cork.
