Home description
Meenteog is located just 2 KM from the village of Glenbeigh. The area is a popular destination for families due to the superb Blue Flag beach at Rossbeigh which is located 2.5 km from the village of Glenbeigh.
The sandy beach which stretches for over 6.5 km, offers spectacular views across the bay to the Dingle Peninsula.
Meenteog can sleep up to 6 guests in 3 separate bedrooms all en suite. The house is a newly built home with all the modern conveniences. There is a large garden for children to play around. It is situated in a quiet area but just 2 KM from the popular village of Glenbeigh.
The village itself offers its own unique development. The cluster of authentic walk-around thatched cottages show how the people of the 1800s lived. An Old Blacksmiths forge, the Turfcutters house, a Stable dwelling and a Dairy house can all by the tourist. As well as this, just outside the village the remains of Whyn's castle can be found, thus offering the visitor another site of historical and cultural interest.

The County Kerry region
Co Kerry known as 'The Kingdom' is located in the South west of Ireland. One of Irelands most famous towns is located in Kerry, Killarney. The lakes of Killarney are an area of outstanding natural beauty are located in Killarney National park.
The tip of the Dingle Peninsula is the most westerly point in both mainland Ireland and Europe. The towns of Kenmare, Killorglan, Tralee ( Rose Of Tralee) are also in Co Kerry.
Glenbeigh area
Glenbeigh, a tiny fishing and holiday village, is situated on the northern lap of the Ring of Kerry at the foot of the Seefin Mountain 10 km west of Killorglin.
The main attraction of this village is the superb Blue Flag beach, Rosbeigh, which stretches over four kilometres with views across the bay to the Dingle Mountains.
This beautiful, unpolluted beach provides idyllic conditions for swimming walking and, with a number of mud flats found on the eastern side of the land, some fantastic bird watching.

Glenbeigh is located 35KM from Kerry Airport.
Cheap flights with Ryan Air from London and Frankfurt Hann. Cork Airport is 2 hours drive away.

Further details indoors: The main living area is open plan. It has an open fire set in to a stone wall that extends to the the roof of the room.
Leading off the main living area is the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a diswasher, stove, microwave, fridge freezer and all the utensils you need to enjoy your stay. There are patio doors leading from the kitchen and also from the living area out to the patio area and gardens.
Garden furniture on the patio area provides a lovely setting for relaxing in the sun and admiring the stunning scenery all around this home.
Meenteog house has 3 bedrooms all en suite. All bedrooms are decorated tastefully and are large cosy and comfortable. They all feature double beds. Upstairs is a broad spacious landing which overlooks the open plan living room. Two bedrooms can be accessed from here. Also on the landing are comfortable chairs which over look the main living area, a lovely setting designed for relaxation.
Another en suite bedroom is downstairs that features a jacuzzi bath.
Oil fired central heating and a fireplace keep the house as warm in Winter as in Summer.

Weekend Bookings only in the offseason and tariff is for minimium 3 nights. 15% non refundable deposit required to secure booking. Balance paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
