"The perfect setting for a week in the countryside"
Threshing Barn is beautiful, the layout and decor inside and out is immaculate and the perfect setting for a week in the countryside. 10 of us stayed in the barn, four of which shared a room. All beds were double and there were two en suites and two additional bathrooms. All kitchen utensils and cleaning products were supplied and all appliances needed were available. The owners were very accommodating and helpful when we had questions regarding supermarkets and local pubs, fortunately for us (a group of 21-year-old males and females) they did not pester us with regards to noise and mess and were very relaxed which made the stay even more enjoyable. The facilities at the barn we're brilliant, we had ping pong table, hot tub, sauna and a BBQ, without question we would definitely visit Little Upton Threshing Barn again.

"Unforgettable weekend in a relaxing, fun & spacious accommodation"
Our group of 9 had a simply wonderful weekend for my friend's hen party. The accommodation was super clean and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and a spacious and sociable kitchen and lounge. We had the run of both the threshing barn and the apple barn too for those of us wanting a little quiet away from the group. The property also has a gorgeous garden, a spotless hot tub, and a shared heated swimming pool, all of which we made use of. Gill was a fantastic host from start to finish. Her questions before we arrived meant that the beds were set up exactly how we wanted, and she made lots of really helpful suggestions that made our stay special. On her recommendation, Gemma (Rural Beauty) came and gave us all beauty treatments on Saturday afternoon, which were professionally delivered and the perfect thing before we went out. Gill also made us a delicious cake for our arrival, and was kind enough to see that our shopping was delivered even though we were late arriving, which was a real help. Throughout our stay, she was contactable, but we were left to our own devices which was exactly what we wanted. We went into Bristol on the Saturday night, which is just over an hour away. My advice is to try and book transport early as we had a bit of a mad rush. I'd recommend Isle Valley Transport for minivans to Bristol - Maggie was amazing! All in all, I really can't fault our weekend at all - this is the perfect place to go if you want lots of fun in a beautiful rustic setting. Thank you!!!

"Brilliant for large families of mixed age groups"
Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend to celebrate my 50th. There were 10 of us (plus dog) over 3 generations, and we rented the Threshing and Apple Barns. They were very clean and well equipped, and we all enjoyed the facilities, with many boule, table tennis and basketball competitions. The hot tub was a success too. Plenty to do outside and inside, and lots of room for us all to dine and relax together in the Threshing Barn. Would think it's even better in the summer with the use of the outdoor swimming pool. Very many thanks Gill and Team.

"excellent half term break"
Three families ( total of 12, 6 adults, 4 teenagers, 2 eleven year olds) stayed from Monday to friday and had a really good time. Accomodation in the two barns was excellent and the surrounding areas great for cycling and walking.

"A lovely place, great location and helpful host"
From the beginning of the booking Gill (the host) was incredibly helpful. On arrival the cake was a welcome surprise to us weary travellers. The two barns we rented (threshing barn and apple barn) were both immaculate and had lovely Christmas decorations throughout which was a nice touch. Both barns were well appointed and meant we could cook some delicious meals. The hot tub was lovely and the games room (especially the table football!) was great entertainment. Location is lovely, a short drive from Glastonbury which was a nice day out and the local pub (a short walk away) has great meals available. Overall thoroughly recommended

"Brilliant group holiday venue"
15 of us stayed at the threshing, apple and cider barns. Great accommodation with main barn having large lounge and kitchen that had room for all of us to eat and sit together. We are mixed group of friends in our 20's/30's and the barns were perfect venue for our holiday. Lots of things to see nearby including Glastonbury Tor, Cheddar Gorge and Wooky Hole Caves. The Kiln Inn is a good local pub for food just few minutes down the road. Good hot tub and sauna and plenty of outdoor space.

"Fabulous property, perfect for a hen party."
After searching long and hard for the perfect property for a chilled out hen do, I struck upon this one. Clean and spacious accommodation, extensive and well maintained grounds, private hot tub and sauna and a sunny shared pool that we had all to ourselves. There was even a field that could host outdoor activities such as archery so no travelling involved. Add to that a wonderful pub within walking distance with a lovely private room and you have yourself the perfect set up for a fuss free country retreat, would definitely recommend!

"Just what we wanted"
Perfect accommodation to suit all family members from 3 months to 70. Very well appointed accommodation and superbly comfortable. We had planned to go out for the day but by the time we'd been for a local walk, had a swim, used the hot tub................... the day had gone!

"Lovely accommodation with great amenities"
The Threshing and Apple barns provided roomy and comfortable accommodation for a large family holiday of 9 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs. The facilities were ideal to keep the kids happy and even thought the weather wasn't brilliant the pool was still warm enough to keep the youngsters amused for hours. The walks directly from the back of the property were great for the dogs and meant we could pick up papers and fresh bread etc from the local friendly shop. The kitchens are very well appointed with everything you could need (including 2 dishwashers in the large barn), a godsend when catering for a large group! Log burners in each of the barns created a lovely warm relaxing atmosphere in the evening and made up for the lacking British weather.
