The Central Scotland/Edinburgh region
Amongst Scotland's most beautiful cities, Glasgow is one that has a unique atmosphere and subtle blend of ingredients that makes it a very popular tourist destination.
Public transport and road links make the famous wild Scottish country-side easily available for those who like hillwalking and sightseeing. Historical cities such as Edinburgh and Stirling or seaside towns (e.g. Ayr, Irvine, Largs,) are less than an hour away by train.
Sitting right in the heart of Scotland are a wealth of golf courses and Glasgow is in fact the ideal location for a golfing holiday, as the vast majority of golf courses are only a short drive from Glasgow City Centre. Buchanan Castle, Westerwood and Esporta Dougalston present a formidable golfing challenge and are within easy reach from Glasgow.
Glasgow area
This is a fabulous accommodation right in the heart of Glasgow West End enjoying terrace views of Botanic Gardens, Oran M’Or and Glasgow University. Kelvinside Art Galleries, Transport Museum, Hunterian Gallery, Rennie MacIntosh House are just some of local visitor attractions and restaurants and pubs with choice of cuisine from around the world are all within short walking distance. SECC, the Science Centre and IMAX Theatre are also nearby.
We are 5 minutes walk from Hillhead Underground station. 8 minute journey to Glasgow City Centre and you are at the doorstep of the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow City Centre theatres, Litehouse, Modern Art Gallery and a whole host of other visitor attractions. Merchant City, Buchannan Galleries and St Enoch Shopping Centre offer great shopping opportunities and two train stations will take you to Edinburgh, Stirling and other tourist locations in Scotland.
How to get there
By Air Glasgow International Airport is a twenty minute bus or taxi ride from and provides direct flights from many European cities serviced by a large number of airlines.
