Your “Home from Home” 4 Star Graded by Scottish Tourist Board. Self-Catering Ground Floor Apartment in Pollokshields on Glasgow’s South Side which will cater for your every need in a safe, prestigious environment. Pollokshields was Glasgow’s first garden suburb and still retains that old Victorian charm relating back to its history when it served the rich Victorian merchants who established the City of Glasgow. It is sometimes hard to believe, as you stroll along the tree lined avenues , that you are only 5 mins from the bustling City Centre and just 2/3 mins to the M8/M77/M74 Motorways. Dumbreck Train Station is a 2 minute walk away and a short 5minute hop will take you straight into the City Centre of Glasgow. Local buses are also nearby. The exclusive, up-market Sherbrooke Castle Hotel is closeby and the Bar and Restaurant are open to non-residents. Small convenience store is just around the corner. Apart from Glasgow, you will be ideally and centrally situated to enable you to visit Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, Ayrshire (Rabbie Burns/Auld Lang Syne Country), all of which are only a short 40 minute drive away. After your busy day, you will be able to come home to Sherbrooke and enjoy a glass of wine or perhaps even “A Wee Dram of Scotch Whisky” relaxing on the pleasant outdoor terrace with its seating and planters. Choice of One or Two Bedroom Apartment available with Free WiFi and Sky+HD.

Glasgow is a very interesting City of Museums, Parks, History and excellent Shopping. It is also small enough to be able to travel around easily and quickly with its Trains, Buses and Underground.
From the apartment you can walk to The Burrel Collection in Pollok Country Park where you will also discover Pollok House and Gardens. Walk locally the Bellahouston Heritage Trail and discover Charles Rennie Mackintosh's "House for an Art Lover" alongside the Art Playground and stange sculptures as well as The Bellahouston Ski and Snowboard Centre.
You are an easy walk to three of Glasgow's lovliest parks - Pollok Country Park, Bellahouston and a stroll through the Victorian Mansions will take you to Maxwell Park. The Science Centre is 5 minutes by Car as is the SECC.
A great way to see the main attractions of Glasgow is to go on the Glasgow Bus Tour which runs from George Square in the Centre and you can get a "Hop On, Hop Off" 2-Day pass which will allow you to visit the "must-see" Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, The new Riverside Museum of Transport Glasgow, Glasgow Cathedral and so much more. Glasgow has so much to offer - you will visit once and will wish you had stayed longer!
A friendly Glasgow Welcome awaits!
