"Great flat with very helpful owner"
I recently stayed in flat 2, very similar to this one but on the ground floor. I was there for 3 nights with my grown up family. Alan, the owner picked my son up from the airport and he is a very helpful guy, at the end of a phone if you need anything and very kindly leaving bread, butter, milk, irn bru, haggis, porridge, shortbread and wine to start off your stay. Also, all cleaning stuff and salt, pepper etc are provided which is not always the case in rented apartments. The flat is modern, clean, bright and well furnished. It had everything we needed for a short stay. We were there meeting up as a farewell for my elder son who is off to Australia and the whole weekend was fantastic. An added bonus of the flat is that there is plenty of free parking and its proximity to the city centre. It also looks out over the beautiful Glasgow Green. I am very likely to be back here or in another of Alan's flats.

"Wonderful Transition to Life in Glasgow"
My boyfriend and I just moved to Glasgow and we stayed in one of Alan's other properties, Garnethill Gem, for 2 weeks while we looked for a permanent flat. Alan was so kind, and helpful in every respect. The flat was in a perfect location for getting to different parts of the city. It also was a comfortable flat- we were able to get online easily and we cooked at home often as well. I would definitely recommend any one of his flats based on our experience.

"Great guy; great place"
My wife and I with our two kids settled into the Flat on the Green in the middle of August 2012. Alan was a terrific host! He picked us up at the airport and drove us to the flat where he was nice enough to have wine, haggis, Irn Bru, bread and cereal waiting for us. Alan was also very understanding when my daughter broke something in the apartment.
The apartment was nice, quiet and well situated. I was able to walk into downtown in about 20 minutes (lovely walk through Glasgow Green) and was only about 10 minutes from the Hop-On-Hop-Off tour.
I would highly recommend The Flat on the Green!
