Just launched, newly refurbished two bedroom apartment in Glasgow's vibrant and cultural west end, where many of the city's main tourist attractions are located. Only two miles from the city centre, and a few minutes walk from the buzz of Byres Road with its independent shops, stylish restaurants, bars, delis and cafes. The apartment is located in a conservation area on a quiet, attractive, tree lined street around the corner from the Botanic Gardens. Although the apartment has a private parking space, public transport connections are excellent with Kelvinbridge Subway Station (Glasgow's equivalent of the London tube system) less than 5 minutes walk away (6 minutes transit to/from the city centre). Numerous buses also operate from early until late from a bus stop at the end of the street.
The apartment is truly a home from home, providing luxurious, stylish and comfortable furnishings and all the modern conveniences one could wish for. Both the bedrooms and the living room have flat screen TVs and there is a blu-ray player in the living room. The kitchen is fully integrated and has everything you need for a whole range of cooking options. There is a wet room (no bath) with feature lighting. There is also a small private garden area where you can sit and enjoy the morning sun or a glass of wine on the warmer evenings. Should you wish to bring a car, there is a private parking space. The apartment has two double sized bedrooms - one has a double bed and the other can be made up as either a king bed or two singles. The apartment is great for one to four people, but if you want to accommodate more, I can provide an air bed for the living room. Fresh bedding and towels are provided as standard. Everything in the apartment is brand new and having just been refurbished, it is freshly painted.
Please note that the nightly price is 105GBP for the first guest, with a modest 15GBP additional charge per night for every subsequent guest.

The Glasgow region
The G12 postcode marks one of the most desired residential locations in the city of Glasgow and the apartment is within walking distance of many of the city's main attractions and many of the venues for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The Botanic Gardens are literally just around the corner. Byres Road with it's independent shops, art galleries, restaurants, cafes and delis lies within 5 minutes walk. A few notable places of interest within easy walking distance are Glasgow University with its beautiful architecture and Hunterian Museum, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Also nearby is A Neo-Classical Church, and The Charles Rennie Mackintosh House - a must-see for any visitor. During the summer season, an open topped red tourist bus transports visitors around the city. One of the hop on hop off points is around the corner from the apartment at the Botanic Gardens.
The apartment is in a conservation area and despite being close to all of the hustle and bustle, it is on a very quiet street with no through traffic. It is safe to walk around at any time of the day or night.
Access to the city centre and outer lying areas is fast and frequent with Kelvinbridge Subway Station (Glasgow's equivalent of the London tube system) less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment (transit time of 6 minutes into the centre). From the city centre there are trains to destinations all over Scotland and the UK. There are also plenty of buses from Great Western Road which is at the end of the street. Glasgow Airport is a 20 minute drive away. Taxis are numerous and can be hailed easily from Great Western Road or the local taxi rank is less than 5 minutes walk away. Getting out of the city is easy with Loch Lomond only 30 minutes drive by car. Edinburgh is around 1 hour drive away and around 1 hour by underground and mainline train (great for Edinburgh Festival visitors). We can organise transport for you or advise of connections city or nationwide, just ask. If you need further information about the location in relation to Commonwealth Games venues, please advise which sports events you are attending, and we can advise how far they are from the apartment.

We stayed at this property when visiting Glasgow for work. We couldn't have asked for anywhere better. The flat has just been renovated and is finished to a very high standard with everything you could need. The location is also fantastic, right in the heart of the West End, a short walk from all the restaurants and pubs.

We stayed at 21A for the weekend of the Ryder Cup. The apartment is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. I couldn't fault it in any way and would highly recommend it!

I cannot fault this property. We stayed here for a weekend and it was perfect for us. The apartment is ideally located for the city yet in a quiet location. The property itself is 5 star, it is finished to a very high standard and I would pick it over a hotel any day. The owner is very accommodating and helpful with quick responses and flexibility with arrival times. I would totally recommend this property for a stay in the city and I will definitely be back in the future. Excellent value for money as well!!

Lovely apartment in a great location. Highly recommend. Very comfortable with every amenity you could ask for. Detailed printouts of activities happening in glasgow during my stay was a very thoughtful touch.
