This two bedroom town house is in Garnethill at the heart of the city centre. It is literally one minute away from the Macintosh School of Art and within easy walking distance of all the main sights, theatres, concert halls, restaurants, bars and shops.

It is a modern, bright and airy house with two private parking spaces directly outside the front door. The double bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite shower room, and patio doors leading to a little private terrace. There is a comfortable twin bedroom, and a separate bathroom with shower mixer. The lounge, kitchen and dining areas are semi-open plan with lovely high ceilings creating a light and airy living space. TV and wi-fi broadband are provided. The kitchen is well equipped with all the things you'd need plus dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Garnethill is a friendly, interesting neighbourhood with a lot going on. From the Art School and the Centre of Contemporary Art (CCA), the National Trust Tenement House, the GFT independent cinema, the Piping Centre, music venues, bars and restaurants on Sauchiehall Street and the Wee Curry Shop on Buccleuch Street, there's plenty to see and do within the neighbourhood. It is perfectly placed for seeing the rest of the city. Cowcaddens underground is just around the corner from the house, it's two stops to the West End though just as easy to wander there through Kelvingrove Park or along Great Western Road. The River Kelvin walkway and the Forth and Clyde canal path are nearby for a walk, cycle or jog. All the main city centre shops on Sauchiehall Street and Buchanan Street are only 5-10 minutes walk and the Merchant City is a 20 minute stroll downtown.

"Great townhouse in the Heart of Glasgow"

After navigating the one way streets that surround the house we were able to find the house and the owners waiting for us. Upon meeting the owners I knew I had made the right choice to booking this rental. They were friendly, helpful and answered any questions we had. They left us with the keys and the feeling that the house was our home away from home.

The location of the house was probably my favorite feature. We were next to a park and a few minutes walk from the train station. We were within walking distance of great shops and restaurants. We walked pretty much everywhere in Glasgow and never felt that we were far from the house. it was a great home base. It took minutes to get on the dual carriageway or any other motorway you would need.

The amenities were great, two great bedrooms, a nice kitchen and a cozy living room made this house feel like home. Having our own parking space was great since we rented a car for our trip. Never having to worry about parking was a relief!

Overall this was a great rental and I would highly recommend it to any one wanting to stay in Glasgow.

"Home away from home in heart of the city"

If you're looking for a home away from home in the heart of Glasgow this is the place for you!

This town house has everything you need in terms of comfort, privacy and convenience.

I was looking for somewhere warm and inviting for our short visit to Glasgow where we were catching up with friends and family and a little sight seeing, and we found it right here.

The owner, Anne, was waiting on arrival to hand over keys and ensure that everything was in order. She also gave us great tips and local insights on Glasgow which we followed and enjoyed greatly.

Garnethill is a quiet residential area just a block away from the hustle and bustle of city centre. Within a short walk you can be in the city, at the bus, underground or train stops for local links, chips and curry one way, great restaurants, bars and cafés the other.

We love this city and when we come back I'll be booking this townhouse again. Thanks Anne. We enjoyed living like locals.
