The Central Scotland/Strathclyde region

Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland. It was founded by St Mungo and retains the only roofed pre reformation cathedral in Scotland.

Glasgow has a proud history as an important sea port dating from the 17th century with trading links to America and the tobacco lords. The shipyards of the River Clyde have played a crucial role in the maritime tradition of Scotland building the famous Queen liners as well as many naval vessels.

Glasgow has developed as a centre for shopping, music, theatre and sport.

Glasgow has excellent transport links to the rest of the UK, Europe, Canada and the United States of America.

It is an ideal centre to explore the unique scenery of historic Scotland.

Dennistoun is a well established area in the east of the city.

The area boasts a wealth of traditional housing and has recently been redeveloped as an exciting place to live.

Close to the Sir Chris Hoy Veladrome, The Tollcross Swimming Centre, The Emirates Arena and Celtic Park.

Dennistoun is a short walk away from the Cathedral Precincts and the bars and restaurants of the \Merchant City.
