Spacious Modern Luxury AC Apartment, recently refurbished and furnished to a high standard. Comprises of entrance lounge with seating & table, living area with two comfortable sofa beds, fully fitted kitchen/diner seating 6 people, master bedroom with a King Size Bed, 2nd bedroom with twin beds. There is a large bathroom with jacuzzi & shower.
Enjoy some egyptian hospitality, the egyptian people are friendy, humourous and always ready to help you. The North Egypt / Cairo / Cairo region

Nazlet el Saman is a village aprox 1 Hour from Cairo, here you can relax in a quiet environment but still have access to the main attractions of this Area, The Pyramids and the Sphinx are literally on your doorstep. a short distance by taxi you can visit the Step Pyramid at Sakarra & Memphis. There are many places to visit in Cairo itself, eg the Famous Museum, see the The Pharonic Village (like going back in time), The Citadel (home to Egypt Rulers for some 700 years, visit the Mohammed Ali Mosque, this is a work of art and took 18 years to build. Don't miss a visit to the famous 14th century Khan el Kalili Market. Take an evening cruise down the River Nile and enjoy the entertainment, music and belly dancers. There is a metro station in Giza linking you with many areas of the city. You will find everything you need in the village,(5 minutes walking) supermarkets, pharmacies, bank, money exchange, ATM machines.

The Pyramids & Sphinx are around 10 mins walk from the apartment, there are many restaurants,supermarkets and bazzarres within 5-10 mins walking. You can access the local hotels with restaurants, some allow day use of their sun terraces and swimming pools and all within 10 min taxi ride. There is an internet cafe/games in the village and tennis courts.
There are stables if you would like horse riding or a camel ride.

From our intial booking until our day of departure we found Catherine extremely friendly and eager to help without being intrusive. We loved staying in the village rather than being part of an enormous hotel complex. We enjoyed being able to explore and enjoy local hospitality, the photographs on the web site don't do the apartment justice, it is so much more spacious than we imagined. We would recommend the experience and hope to return in the future.

We found Catherine through a travel website and eagerly anticipated our stay in Giza. Catherine has been consistently warm helpful and upbeat. She is a helpful and agreeable host in such a foreign place. The apartment boast an incredible view from the roof terrace, we spent many evenings up there marvelling at the ancient Pyramids & Sphinx. What an experience-rich vacation this is. Our family of six could not have enjoyed this more, the price is so reasonable and the apartment is more than adequate and the whirlpool bath and the cell phone are great luxuries. What can we add more what hasn't already been said about this holiday home and its lovely owner. It wasn't our first trip to Giza and we have stayed in really expensive hotels before but if we were to give this apartment a rating then there wouldn't be enough left to say. We had the time of our lives, it was great, super, beautiful and awsome. I think it is very difficult to find a flat like this, it is not that it feels like home, it is HOME. You don't have to stay in a luxury hotel because the apartment is more than that. It was our wish to return at Christmas but the apartment is already booked. Catherine thanks for making our dream come true.

Can't say enough about the hospitality & warmth of Catherine, everything was "no problem" and she went out of her way to help us with any request. The apartment is lovely, new and clean and the roof is a little peice of Magic. The locals are great and a walk around is a must. Will recommend to anyone i know coming to Egypt.
