Home description

Self-catering 3-bedroom apartment in a large tower block. The building is situated off Pyramids Street, one of the most famous streets in Giza County in Cairo and only 15 minutes drive away from the pyramids and sphinx. It is also only a 20-minute drive away from central Cairo, the ancient Egyptian museum and the famous river Nile.

The on-site managing agents are my parents who will happily check you in and out and are on call most of the time for any assistance or advice needed. Also I am always contactable via sms text message or email so rest assured that we endeavour to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.

The North Egypt / Cairo / Cairo region

The twin streams of Egypt's history converge just below the Delta at Cairo , where the greatest city in the Islamic world sprawls across the Nile towards the Pyramids , those supreme monuments of antiquity. Every visitor to Egypt comes here, to reel at the Pyramids' baleful mass and the seething immensity of Cairo, with its bazaars, mosques and Citadel and extraordinary Antiquities Museum. It's equally impossible not to find yourself carried away by the street life, where medieval trades and customs coexist with a modern, cosmopolitan mix of Arab, African and European influences.
The climate is good all year round, long hours of sunshine and an average daily temperature of 21.9C (Cairo) makes it the perfect destination for sun seekers.
Its popularity as a tourist destination means that there are regular flights from the UK to Egypt, with less than five hours flying time from most of Europe.

The building is situated off Pyramids Street, one of the most famous streets in Giza County in Cairo and only 15 minutes away from the pyramids and sphinx, the only one of the Seven Wonders of the World still left standing, the three pyramids of Giza, part of the necropolis of Memphis, are a sight which dwarfs even the proudest of modern buildings. The Pyramids are also home to the Sphinx, perhaps the best known monument in the whole of Egypt. . It is also only a 20-minute drive away from central Cairo, the ancient Egyptian museum and the famous river Nile.

How to get there

Flight normally starts from £249 and you need to fly to Cairo International Airport, The airport is situated 14 miles (22km) from Cairo,Local time is GMT +2 (GMT +3 between last Friday in April and last Friday in September).

Driving in Cairo is best avoided, visitors can hire a car with a driver ( please ask for details / charges )

The property's weekend rates apply to: Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

NB: Prices may be subject to change at the advertiser's discretion.

50% of rental fee as down payment to secure booking.

The remaining balance to be paid on arrival to my father who lives in the building and will be the person to check you in and out and manage the apartment during your stay. He is always around if help or advice is needed

A pick up and drop off from the airport can be arranged.Also we can organise a car with a driver for your stay in Cairo( Subject to addtional cost)

Cleaning the apartment can be arranged for an additional charge of £6.00 per clean (optional)

Refundable breakages deposit of £50 required on arrival, to be refunded on your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

Check in & out time:Check in time is 2pm and Check out time on the departure is 12 Midday.

Where possible we can arrange early arrivals or late departure.

Cancellation: if you have to cancel your booking, the down payment will be refundable if you cancel 8 weeks before your holiday commences

For anyone that is interested in experiencing a true Egyptian vacation, I would highly recommend this flat.
I felt like an honourary resident after my stay. I enjoyed the experience of assimilating the world of the warm and friendly Egyptians all at a reasonable cost. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from the stagnant hotels. The Pharaoh Apartments gets an A+ recommendation from me.
