The apartment is located in Giza a suburb of Cairo. Giza is where the Great Pyramids and Sphinx can be found. From Giza, you can easily travel to central Cairo to visit the bustling markets, museums, famous Citadel, mosques such as the Al Azhar, Coptic Cairo, the River Nile and so much more. El Azhar Park is a beautifully landscaped place which is a favourite with tourists! You will literally be spoiled for choice of things to do in charming Cairo

Giza / Pyramids at Giza area
The possibility to relax in Giza within a quiet environment, yet still have easy access to the main attractions, such as the Pyramids and the Sphinx, is perhaps one of the most satisfying things about staying here.The Step Pyramids at Sakarra & Memphis are also very easily accessible being just a short taxi ride away. Tours can also be arranged in a modern air conditioned car.
There are a great many places to visit in Cairo itself such as the Museum, in which many pharonic artefacts are located and it is possible to view mummies!! The Pharonic Village is also a wonderful place to visit, especially for children. The Citadel, which housed Egyptian rulers for some 700 years is also a spectacular site which itself boasts a museum and the spectacular Mohammed Ali Mosque.
The famous 14th century Khan el Khalili Market is equally a wonder of spices and vibrance, set to tantalise you the moment you arrive! Alternatively, you could opt for an evening cruise down the River Nile and enjoy the entertainment, music and belly dancers. There is a metro station in Giza linking you with many areas of the city.
If you plan to travel further afield, Fayoum is a traditional local village within close proximity to Giza (40 minutes) which produces fantastic pottery! Similarly, Alexandria, itself an ancient and enigmatic town, is a 3 hour drive away. Don't forget to sample the fish there!!
How to get there
The airlines and companies which I would recommend primarily for flights are Dial a Flight for indirect flights or Egypt Air and British Airways. Both offer very reasonably priced flights, even during peak season and have special offers during off peak season which make the journey even more appealing.
The apartment is easily accessible from Cairo airport being only a 25 minute drive away. En route from the airport, you can see some of the beautiful sites which Cairo has to offer and begin to soak in this fabulous city.
Airport pick-up can be arranged, Arrangements can also be made for tours of the historical sites with a knowledgeable driver who speaks fluent Arabic, English and French. Charges are extremely reasonable and ensure maximum comfort for your travels around Cairo.

A pick up and drop off from the airport can be arranged. Also we can organise a car with a driver for the duration of your stay in Cairo or for specific tours.
Cleaning the apartment can be arranged for an additional charge of £6.00 per clean (optional).
Refundable breakages deposit of £50 required on arrival, to be refunded on your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
Check in & out time: To suit flight arrival and departure times.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel your booking, the down payment will be refundable only if you cancel 8 weeks before your stay is due commence.
