The area is the historical centre of Girona. The area is enchanting for walks along the City Wall, the gardens, the Cathedral... A part of this area was the jewish quarter 5 centuries ago. You can still feel their footsteps on the narrow streets of the city. The area is full of shops and restaurants. There are many festivals along all year: a flower festival, a religious music festival, and traditional celebrations around Christmas and Easter.
