Homey island getaway on Raymond Island, Gippsland Lakes.

This is the perfect holiday location for families with a house that comprises three bedrooms (two queen beds, two twin beds, sofa bed), full kitchen, dining, lounge, sun room and a backyard big enough to park a boat. Great for a long weekend or an extended break.

Raymond Island is a three hour drive from Melbourne and separated from the mainland by ferry. The house is only minutes from the Raymond Island Ferry and new island and mainland dining options and a popular public playground. Everything is only a short walk or cycle away should you want to ditch the car for a while.

The Lakes are famous for their fishing, boating, water sports and secluded beaches. The Island is a nature reserve and home to many native animals, and barely a day will go by you won't see a koala, kangaroo, echidna or rosella. The house is down the road from one of the most spectacular sunsets you will ever see.

"A magical place"

This house was fantastic. Everything you could want or need, very family friendly and presented beautifully. Raymond Island is a hidden wonder of Victoria. We had not been there before nor heard of it… More
