Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in this home away from home in the quaint village of Georgeham. Perfectly located between Putsborough and Croyde enjoy the peace and quiet of village life with several superb surfing beaches only a 10 minute car journey away.

The heart of the home is the large open plan living area and dining space, making this a sociable holiday home, perfect for large families or groups of friends. 4 bedrooms sleep 8 people with a large rear sunny garden and built-in BBQ perfect for the warm summer months. Wifi internet access is included and up to two dogs are very welcome too. Walk to several pubs famous for their delicious home cooked food sourced from local producers. The ideal base from which to explore this beautiful part of North Devon.

LIVING AREAS

Once inside GEORGEHAM ROSEMARY HOUSE life is centred around a sociable open plan lounge and dining area. Wood flooring, solid wood furniture and classy light and dark toned decor create an upmarket feel. The lounge seats 9 with an electric fireplace for chilly evenings, and the open plan dining area seats 10 people, perfect for a family feast or dinner party with friends. Home entertainment includes a large flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD player, and inclusive WiFi internet access. A childrens toy box, books, games and a DVD selection are sure to keep the little ones occupied.

KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM

The sophisticated kitchen has everything you could possibly need to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Plenty of pristine white cupboards and a durable work surface for preparing meals. Appliances include a fridge/freezer, oven, electric hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere as well as all the other essential mod-cons, crockery (including children's), cutlery and kitchen utensils.

The kitchen leads into a breakfast room with wall mounted TV, table, seating and plenty of space for the high chair provided.

BEDROOMS

Bedroom 1: Large bedroom with a superking size bed that can be unzipped into two single beds upon request. There is also a truckle bed in this room allowing a third or even fourth person, if required, to sleep in here if necessary. Furniture includes three bedside cupboards, a dressing table and a built in wardrobe.

Bedroom 2: Good sized light and airy room with a king size bed, cream coloured furniture, comprising bedside cupboards and a chest of drawers, and two built in wardrobes.

Bedroom 3: Bunk beds with storage space, including a wardrobe unit with hanging space and drawers.

Bedroom 4: Twin bedroom on the ground floor with a wardrobe, bedside drawer units, and a sink with vanity unit

A travel cot is provided.

BATHROOMS

Bathroom 1: Family bathroom upstairs containing a bath with enlarged shower area, wash basin and WC.

Bathroom 2: A shower room on the ground floor next to a cloak room.

Bath towels and hand towels are provided.

OUTDOORS

This property has a front and rear garden. The larger rear garden is enclosed with a sizeable lawn area and a raised patio with excellent views of the surrounding countryside. There is a built-in BBQ and an outdoor table with parasol seats 10 people, ideal for warm summer evenings outdoors, and kids will enjoy the children's picnic table There is parking for 2 cars on the driveway and plenty more residential parking in front of the house should you require it.

CYCLE TO - Braunton village, Croyde Beach, Putsborough Beach. Croyde is a magical place nestling around a stream running down to the sea. This award-winning sandy beach is fine and flat, ideal for children and good for surfing. With rock pools in abundance and dunes a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond. A day at historic Braunton Burrows is great. Cultural days can be passed at Arlington Court, historic Clovelly Village, Watermouth Castle, Lynton, Lynmouth, Victorian-styled Ilfracombe with its quaint fishing harbour and many more. Saunton Golf Course is a mere 3 miles down the road with its 2 famous links courses.
