SEASCAPE COTTAGE OVERVIEW
SEASCAPE COTTAGE is a charming holiday home situated in the village of Georgeham, just one and a half miles from the golden sandy beaches of Croyde and Putsborough and within easy reach of Saunton and Woolacombe, all great surf spots. The village has two great pubs for eating out and a well-stocked village shop and Post Office all within walking distance – a great base for your beach holiday or to explore the delights of North Devon and Exmoor. The property is modern, with wooden floors throughout, and is light, bright and comfortably furnished. There are delightful elevated views of the surrounding village and the countryside beyond. SEASCAPE COTTAGE has 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4-6 people and pets are very welcome too, with an enclosed garden to run around in.
The perfect holiday home for families, friends or couples, and just minutes from the beach.
A vibrant sociable living area contains a large comfy cream L-shape sofa, TV, DVD player, CD player, radio, and a solid fuel Parkray fire for cosy evenings in. There is solid wood flooring throughout, and tasteful artwork on the walls. A pine dining table seats 4 people to one side of the room.
The kitchen is very well equipped, with a fridge, separate freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, grill, and ceramic hob. French doors lead from the kitchen to a lovely raised decked area, ideal for outside entertaining and barbecues, or simply soaking up the sun in private.
SEASCAPE COTTAGE sleeps 4 people in beds, but there is the possibility of sleeping 6 people using 2 single futon beds.
Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom with a pine double bed, bedside cabinets, reading lamps, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a single futon chair/bed.
Bedroom 2 contains twin beds, a bedside cabinet, reading lamp, wardrobe, chest of drawers and another single pine futon chair/bed.
The family bathroom is bright white, with a blue mosaic border. In this room there is a full size bath with shower overhead, WC, hand basin, large silver mirror, and an airing cupboard.
The pretty, enclosed garden has two seating areas – the raised decking with garden furniture just outside the kitchen, and an additional patio area with its own wooden picnic table. The rest of the garden is mainly lawn with attractive shrubs planted. This is a great place to relax and unwind, enjoy the views, soak up the sun, and let the children and pets play.

The Devon region
The North Devon Coast
For spectacular scenery and beautiful beaches whatever the season, there's no better place in England than North Devon coast and in particular Croyde. The beaches are recognised as possibly some of the finest and cleanest in Europe - with two miles of soft golden sand, plenty of rock pools and amazing surf.
The coastline is as rugged as it is beautiful dotted with magnificent cliffs, tiny cove and picturesque harbours. It was once the haunt of smugglers, pirates and wreckers and the fascinating history is retold in many small museums along the coast. Today visitors who love Henry Williamson's famous Tarka the Otter can retrace Tarka's journey by following the Tarka Trail.
Croyde is ideally located within easy reach of the harbours of Clovelly and Lynmouth which are also perfect places to relax. Meander through the streets of Lynmouth and take a ride on the unique water powered cliff railway to the twin town of Lynton which is perched high on the cliffs. Clovelly is another of the prettiest coastal village where it feels as if time stood still. The only means of transport on these famous cobbled streets are donkeys and sleds.
Along the coastline surrounding a natural harbour is Ilfracombe with its Victorian architecture, Esplanade and famous Tunnels Beach. The harbour is always busy with fishing boats sailing in and out together with the paddle steamer Balmoral which offers day trips to Lundy Island. North Devon has something to offer and appeal to everyone, take time to come and find out for yourselves, we will make you very welcome.
WALK TO – Croyde is a magical place nestling around a stream running down to the sea. This award-winning sandy beach is fine and flat, ideal for children and good for surfing. With Rock pools are in abundance and dunes a haven for young and intrepid explorers. Local fun parks for the children such as Cascades Pool Park are a great way to spend the day. Croyde Bay is renowned as a premier surfing beach destination in England for short and long boards. For the more adventurous, kite surfing, volley ball, kayaking and horse riding is on your doorstep. Within walking distance of Croyde beach enjoy its ice cream shop, gourmet restaurants, superb village pubs, surf shops, and art gallery. This classic 'chocolate-box' village is steeped in old-world charm and echoes the feeling of life in Britain in times gone by. Coastal and Countryside walks include the majestic Croyde cliff path to Baggy Point, (and for those energetic), to Woolacombe and beyond.
