The property is situated just 2 Kilometers outside Genouillac which lies between Gueret and La Chatre in the heart of the Creuse Countryside. The landscape is comparable to the Cumbrian Lake District. The Mill House and Gite face onto the Petite Creuse River with a stream running through the garden area. A beautiful Victorian Viaduct runs across the valley only 300metres away.

The Limousin / Auvergne / Creuse region
Limousin is a land of lakes and waterways, offering every kind of activity from fishing to jet skiing, with watersports galore to be found on the sandy shores of Lake Vassivière. The sparsely populated and untouched landscape is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts, with ample opportunities for cycling and rambling.
The Creuse is a very quite rural area with plenty to offer within an hours drive, The citys of Gueret, Chateauroux, Montucson, Bourges and Limoges are all within that driving frame. Plenty of tourist attractions in Aubusson and other local Villags
Genouillac / Chambon area
Genouillac has its own local Vival (SPAR) store where you can purchase most food shopping there is a local butcher who has an amazing selection of Meats. The 2 Boulangeries sell fresh baked bread and croissants. There are 4 local Bars and the local Auberge offers a 4 course meal with wine for 11 Euros a head.
10 Minutes away is the site of the three lakes with Bars and amusement areas. Your hosts Alan and Julia will be on hand to make sure your stay is Memorable.
