Home description

Located close to the Rodney Bay Marina and Pigeon Island, this pretty two-bedroomed villa, with its own secluded plunge pool and terrace, backs on to a beautiful flower garden and is within a small gated community on the edge of the prestigious Cap Estate.

The villa offers a peaceful retreat, yet is close to all the amenities offered in Rodney Bay. You can walk to the beach at Pigeon Island where they hold the main Jazz Festival events, the famous Friday night jump up at Gros Islet is also within walking distance and the fairway of the St Lucia Golf Club is right next door.

Rodney Bay and the fabulous Reduit Beach with its golden sands and blue Caribbean sea is a 5 minute drive away. There you will also find excellent restaurants, shopping and night-life. The Caribbean has year round sunshine so you can holiday at any time of year in this delightful self-catering villa.

The Cap Estate region

Situated on the Northern tip of St Lucia near to Rodney Bay, this exclusive resort community which was once a thriving 1500 acre sugar plantation, sits amongst rolling hills between the Atlantic Ocean and the calm blue Caribbean Sea.


Gate Park area

Just a 5 minute drive from the villa, Rodney Bay village has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. During the day it has a relaxed atmosphere but at night all the lights go on and the music plays. There are restaurants to suit all tastes and pockets, fine waterfront dining and casual dining can be found. There are also nightclubs open until late.

The fabulous mile long Reduit beach is a 5-minute drive away. Sun loungers and umbrellas can be hired and a water-sports shop situated in front of the Rex St Lucian, offers Jet-Skiing, water-skiing, windsurfing, canoeing etc. All the beaches in St Lucia are open to the public.

The Rodney Bay marina is a two-minute drive away and has restaurants, shops, banks etc. This is also the finishing point for the famous ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) annual yacht race in December. http://www.igy-rodneybay.com/marina/

Flights from the UK:

Virgin Atlantic fly from Gatwick every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. They have special offers on in January and August (although keep checking their web site regularly or set up an alert).

British Airways fly from Gatwick every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. They have World Traveller sales quite regularly.

UK flights land at Hewanorra Airport in the South of the Island and the drive to the North of the island takes around 90 minutes. Ask the driver to stop at Dennery so that you can have a Piton or a rum punch and admire the beautiful view.

A taxi can be arranged to collect you at a very competitive price (around $65US).

Car Hire (4x4 Daihatsu Terios) can also be arranged at extremely reasonable rates via our agent in St Lucia.

• The master bedroom has a huge king size bed and a comfortable futon, which can be used as extra sleeping space for a small charge.

• Bedroom two, which is on the ground floor, has 2 single beds which can be made into one king size bed if required.

• Both bedrooms have cable tv and en suite shower rooms.

• The sitting room has a large dining table, dresser, comfortable seating area, 28” television, DVD player, cd/radio. Air conditioning and ceiling fan

• Powder room off the lounge area.

• There is a well equipped kitchen with American style fridge (ice maker), dishwasher, hob and oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, juicer, toaster, kettle, ceiling fan.

• Utility area with washer/dryer combo, iron and ironing board.

• There are digital safes in both bedrooms.

• Hair-dryers are provided.

• The Villa has Wireless Internet Connection (wifi)

• Maid service is provided three times weekly (more visits can be arranged with our manager Cheli for a small fee).

• Frangipani 2 is a lovely house, well-equipped and comfortable. The plunge pool was also a life-saver as temperature was a very hot and humid 90 degrees most days. • We spent two weeks at Frangipani 2 and it was great. This condo had everything we needed for our stay. All our needs were met. The condo is well equipped and if we did need something Cheli (grounds manager), would do her best to get it for us. Cheli and her staff were outstanding. The condo was very quiet and the rooms are large and the beds were very comfortable.
On hot days, the plunge pool was great to have a cooling dip in. Frangipani 2, is close (by car) to everything you would need for your stay on the island. The condo was clean and well kept. We started planning our vacation months back and Myra the owner was a wonderful resource for us. She was more then helpful she was very patient with us and all our questions. I would recommend this property to a friend or family that was going to St. Lucia. The beaches are great, and you can always find a nice quiet one to spend the day on.
Having a car was very nice as we did a lot of touring around the island.
We didn't eat out much as we did our own cooking at home, we had our own barbecue that was very nice.
