Villa Maisie is a luxury detached villa almost next door to Villa Andrews and is located in an elevated position overlooking Mount Montgo with the Mediterranean a short drive away as are the towns of Javea and Denia with their beautiful sandy beaches, international cuisine and wonderful shopping. The villa has large airy rooms, with the lounge with dining area on the ground floor along with a fully fitted kitchen. There are three large bedrooms and the master bedroom has its own private balcony with magnificent views across the valley towards the Mediterranean. The villa has its own private pool and the location is great for families and ideal for exploring the area

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Both villas are located in this fertile & peaceful part of the sunny Costa Blanca & within a 10 km drive of the small port, bars & beautiful beaches of Javea. Separated by the Mont Montgo Natural Park is the more cosmopolitan town of Denia with excellent dining & shopping as well as the opportunity to hop on board the ferry for a day or two in Ibiza. A little further south brings you to the beaches & harbor of Moraira & the numerous fish restaurants of Calpe. There's even a little train that will takes you from Gata de Gorgos offering you spectacular views along the Costa Blanca coast line and for anyone looking something a bit more lively the resort of Benidorm is only half an hour away. Inland and within easy reach is the tranquil Jalon Valley with plenty of bodega's inviting you to sample the local wine or visit a market & pickup some of the delicious fresh fruit and vegetables picked that morning. For the more serious shopper you have Valencia with it's famous 'El Corte Ingles.

Gata de Gorgos / Gata Residencial area

Gata de Gorgos is a small Spanish town famous for the manufacture classical guitars and whicker furniture of every type. If it's beaches your after there are lots to choose from and each with it's own special identity. There’s a really nice zoo located at El Verger and a brand new shopping mall at Ondara. The area is best suited for families who want to get away from the hustle and bustle although if a bit more serious action is required the resort of Benidorm is only half an hour away.

How to get there

Whether you fly into Alicante or Valencia airports it's approximately 120 km directly along the AP7 motorway to Gata de Gorgos. This is a toll road and costs around six euros and as a result is usually fairly quiet. Exit the motorway sign posted Javea, Denia and Ondara and your almost there (a detailed map will be sent with your booking conformation). Most budget airlines including Thomson fly, BMIbaby and Easy jet offer regular inexpensive flights to Alicante. Europ cars offer great rental prices that usually include fully comprehensive insurance. If you book on line your car will be waiting for you to collect at the airport, don't forget your driving license and remember to ask if the petrol tank needs to be empty or full when you return the car.

Villa Maisie has large airy rooms, with an extra large lounge offering plenty of space and seating for all the family. The internal dining area is designed for a family of six or you can choose to walk through the patio doors and eat el fresco providing dining places for eight people, and if you can find the time you can watch all your favourite BBC & ITV programs as well as a number of Sky Channels and Spanish TV. There is a fully fitted kitchen including an American fridge and dishwasher as well as all the other usual appliances including a separate utility room with automatic washing machine. There is also a downstairs guest cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin. The bedrooms are on 2 floors with the master bedroom on the first floor with its own luxury en-suite bathroom and private balcony with magnificent views across the valley towards the Mediterranean. There are a further two full sized bedrooms to the mezzanine level, one with a three singles and the other with two singles, both bedrooms are serviced by the second bathroom which is on the same level. The villa has full gas central heating and hot & cold air-con available at a small extra charge) and you will find separate towels for the bathroom and pool are included.

The Jacuzzi is included in the price.

George, just a note to say that we had a fantastic holiday at villa Maisie. Kids loved the pool and jacuzzi and even made me go down the slide! I have only one small complaint, we didn`t have long enough. Apart from that everything was excellent, Brian was very helpful and a very nice chap. Many thanks for letting us share your beautiful villa and we may be interested next summer (funds pending!) Adios, Em x
