The Honey Pot is a delightfully romantic cottage set amidst the gorgeous gardens of Tyddyn Mawr Country House. There is no more a peaceful and beautiful location and the owners care and love for where they live is obvious to those privileged enough to stay in this tranquil haven. The cottage is uniquely styled to be like a French palace and it is a spectacular success. Carefully chosen items of furniture and thick sumptuous soft furnishings will leave you relaxed and in complete comfort. Having received a Visit Wales 5* award for excellence this cottage is something special whether in the hazy summer months where you can walk through the gardens, feed the ducks and have a picnic down by the private lake or you are curling your feet up in the sitting room, keeping cosy while the snow falls outside in the winter while you are waiting for a tasty meal bought from the farm shop nearby which is just a short walk away.

There is plenty of things to do in the area. The harbour town of Porthmadog is nearby, and the beauty coastal village of Borth y Gest. The Snowdonia mountain range is in reach by car and so too is the Italianate village of Portmeirion an absolute must visit for anyone new to the area. Fishing here is great, the lake has some fish and guests are at liberty to fish there if they wish. The owners also have the river Dwyfor forming part of the boundary on their land and guests can also fish there for Salmon and Trout too.
