About the home

Welcome at our holiday apartment Am Kurpark - Apt.2,90Sq.M. 5 Stars - for 4 persons, on the first floor. The holiday homes can be comfortably reached by elevator. You will live in the middle of the 'Garmisch' pedestrian zone, very close to the spa gardens. The cable car and the ice rink are 5-10 Minutes by foot. The local bus stops only 2 minutes from the apartment building. The new holiday apartments are equipped with a modern ventilation system with filter . Apartment 2 ***** offers two bedrooms, with doublebed room . All beds have adjustable slatted frames and allergy tested blankets and pillows. The kitchenis fully equipped. You will find own washing machine and dryer. Internet and a telephone are available too. Furthermore, you can use the flat screen TV with satellite and stereo system with DVD player. If wished, parking space can be rent for 5.--€ per day

All beds have adjustable slatted frames and allergy tested blankets and pillows, bedcloths and towels will be present . The kitchen is fully equipped. You will find own washing machine and dryer. Internet and a telephone are available too. A large livingroom with a diningtable for 6-8 persons if you will have guests. Furthermore, you can use the flat screen SAT TV and stereo system with DVD player.

The special location of the apartment:: Our holiday apartment is unique for Garmisch. There are no other holiday apartments directly in the pedestrian zone with elevator. You look down at the pedestrian zone from the livingroom and you do not need a car to get to different locals and restaurants. The spa park Pavillon and Cafe Krönner are directly next to or across from our house so that if you want, you can order breakfast via telephone and shortly thereafter, you can sit at a covered table. Ice rink, swimming pool, train to Zugspitze, cinema can be reached in a maximum walk of 10 minutes, you can see in the spa park from your apartment and if you would like, you can enjoy a spa concert

Further details

Our house has no steps and an elevator instead using the stairs. It is also available for wheelchair users who are able to walk or stand for a few minutes. The bathroom has a bathtub and you cannot put your legs under the sink. in the rest of the apartment you can use the wheelchair, it is tested. Please contact the owner for more informations.

Bavaria is in the south of Germany. Well known is the Oktoberfest in Munich, the Capital of Bavaria. About 100km in the south of Munich you find the Alps with Germanys highest mountain the Zugspitze near Garmisch-Partenkirchen ( 7 km),

The Garmisch-Partenkirchen area

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, climatic spa and international winter sport city, host for the Ski-WM 2001, at the foot of the Zugspitze (2963 m) with different sport and recreational options during the summer and winter. The mountain panorama is unique and offers everything that you expect from a holiday in the mountains. Skiing possible on well made slopes from the beginning of December until the middle of April. The fun park on the Zugspitze gives snowboarders a special kick. Clear mountain lakes invite you to swim during the winter and ice skate during the winter, a well marked path network (470 km) is great for bikers and mountain bikers. On the mountain rivers, you can go rafting and kayaking. With a car, you can reach 12 golf courses within 50 minutes. Cultural experiences include the Richards Strauss days, country weeks, spa concerts, farm theater and country weeks. Attractive cities like Munich and Innsbruck can be reached within a 1 hour drive.

How to get to us:: By car: from Munich through the highway A 95 Garmisch-Partenkirchen, from Augsburg to Schongau on the B 17 and further in the direction of Oberammergau and Garmisch Partenkirchen on the B 23 or through the highway Ulm Kempten A 7 and further through Reute Lermoos and Ehrwald, Griesen to Garmisch-Partenkichen to Kongresshaus. Since our holiday apartment is in the pedestrian zone, we ask you to call us or get in contract with us shortly before your arrival if you have parked temporarily at Kongresshaus parking lot. We will then come immediately and will give you a written entrance certificate for the region. If you want to come by train:from nearly all German large cities there are excellent connections to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From the train station, it is only about 5-7 minutes on foot to our holiday apartment, or you can take the local bus from the train stsation and ride towards Kongresshaus 1 station. We can pick you up from the train station if arranged.
