The Garajau area
Vivenda Belo Horizonte it's a luxury vivenda overlooking 180º the ocean Atlantic. The villa is located in Garajau considered a distinguished area due the nice villas around where the great majority upper class people leave.
Close to the centre of Funchal, only 12 minutes by car, to reach the town of the capital of Madeira Island near the villa 5 minutes walking, you can find restaurants and take away, rent a car, pharmacie, supermarket, laundry, coffee shop, etc.
Today it's possible to profit the new cable car where can en enjoy the sea side beach.
The Cristo Rei area, is considered a unique zen (charkas) place in the world, very famous.

Leave the Airport and follow the road signs towards Via Rápida Funchal e Cancela / Garajau.
Follow the Via Rápida (Freeway) and exit at junction no. 15, road sign Cancela/Garajau, on your right. When you arrive at the crossroads, turn down, to the left, towards Garajau.
Continue to follow that road, where on your right you may find some shops and restaurants, and on your right you will see Hotel Dom Pedro Garajau, along the road.
When you reach the end of this long strait road, follow the road sign indicating Cristo Rei. You have now entered in a road that is called Rua do Cristo Rei, go all the way until you reach the end, but instead of following all the way to the Cristo Rei statue, turn left, where you will find Vivenda Belo Horizonte.
