Bedrooms: The apartment has 2 bedrooms, a double bedroom with en-suite(inc bath and shower) and a second twin bedded room. There are a futher 2 single beds that can be made up from the sofa bed in the lounge.
Bathrooms: The apartment has 2 bathrooms comprising of an en-suite to the master bedroom with bath/shower over, wc and bidet. Bathroom 2 with bath/shower over and wc. Both bathrooms have been recently re-tiled.
Kitchen: The kitchen contains a gas/electric hob, electric oven, microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster. You will find pots, pans,and cooking utensils along with cutlery and crockery if you choose to stay in and cook on occasions.
Utility Room: Leading on from the kitchen is a utility area with washing machine, butler sink and small clothes line.
Living Rooms: The lounge/diner has a 3-piece suite encompassing a 3-seater settee and 2 armchairs. There is a dining table with 6 chairs and a bookcase containg a small choice of reading and DVDs. There is a TV, DVD player and a hi-fi that also plays CDs.
Other: From the lounge and through the sliding patio doors is a balcony with table and chairs, a great to sit and relax with a cold beer whilst taking in the scenic view over the rice and cane fields and the Buixcarro and Monduver mountain foothills.
Cleaning/towels/ Hand and bath towels are provided, along with bed linen and tea towels. The property
linen/maid service: will be cleaned and prepared prior to your arrival. An optional mid stay linen/towel change (for 2 week stay or longer) is available at a cost of £25.
Bookings and payment by cheque can be made directly with the owner. 25% deposit due on booking and payment in full 60 days prior to departure.
Credit/Debit Cards also accepted via PayPal, but will incur a 3% surcharge.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
Playa de Gandia hosts probably the best beach in the region with its own harbour and mariner. Gandia town is approx 3km with an historical city centre and large catherdral making it a very interesting place to visit. There are many shops and between the Playa and the Town shopping malls can be found with designer shops and ten pin bowling alleys.
You can get to the main town centre by using the bus service, running every 15 minutes from early in the morning until late evening all the year round. There is also a connection to Valencia city centre by train from the rail station, in Gandia, and this is well worth a visit.
The Gandia / Gandia Beach area
Our apartment is a 5 minute walk to the beach, a vast area of sand stretching 3km in one direction to the port and some 7 km in the other direction towards the neighbouring town of Xeraco.
** Our apartment benefits from an uninterupted view of the mountains from the balcony. Be careful when selecting other apartments in Gandia as you may find yourself with a view of another apartment block! **
Playa Gandia's modern and palm tree lined beachfront boasts many shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Down the side streets away from the beachfront more bars and restaurants can be found offering fresh fish, salads, meats, and of course the Valencian dish Paella.
In the surrounding area there are numerous golf courses offering testing links and parkland courses. There is a water park in the neighbouring town Cullera. Benidorm is also home to a water park and the excellent theme park - Terra Mitica. Market day in Playa de Gandia is Sunday (3 minutes walk from the apartment), and other local markets can be found most days within 30 - 60 minutes drive.

Thanks Rob and Sian, we had a lovely week. The pool is very big and clean - just a shame there were no loungers! the apartment is well situated close to the beach in a very Spanish area. You can hire a sun lounger/ shade for about 3.50 euros a day each. There are a lot of shops nearby and an outlet about five minutes up the road. Valencia is easy to reach too. Great place if you want to improve your Spanish and escape the bucket and spade brigade!

A lovely clean and well equipped apartment. Very peaceful surroundings but still only 5 minutes stroll to beach and all amenities. Great places to eat and shop and stroll. Weather always fab in summer months, great pool and close by parking.
Great views of the mountain from the large balcony area.

A nice apartment - a little higher than we thought - well equiped and clean with good security , near the beach and shops and bars. Very Spanish - which is what we wanted.
