Historic area of natural beauty, 15km to tourist centre of Gandia town plus many blue flag beaches.

La Drova has a year round typical mediterranean climate, making it suitable for summer and winter holidays. The historic town of Gandia is nearby where you can visit The Borjia's Palace and college the family had built, or visit Xativa with it's ancient historic links. Visit Albufera National Park with it's lakes and birdlife and waterside restaurants and go swimmimg in a waterfall.. Travel to Valencia by train and visit the Gothic cathredal, the Bull Ring, the City of Arts and Sciences, the Art Noveau Market and lastly don't forget the lure of the upmarket shopping quarter. Visiting Guadalest, taking a catamarron trip along the coast, exploring caves and browsing the many street markets.
Gandia / Barx area
Barx is situated in the high valley of La Safor, between the mountain ranges of Buixcarro and Monduver 400 metres above sea level. Barx is made up of the community of the Validigna Mancomunidad de la Validigna. The villages of Tavernes, Simit, Benifairo and Barx are part of it.Our villa is a 10 minute flat walk to the local village of Barx with all it's amenities i.e bars, 2 small supermarkets, chemist, doctor, bakers,tobacconist and Bank, 3 butchers and 7 bar/restaurants. There is a bar/restaurant which serves excellent local food just around the corner.
