Home description
Our house was built in 2004 incorporating a self contained apartment. The apartment is suitable for two people only and has one bedroom with an en suite shower room, a kitchen, lounge and dining area. The apartment is fully equipped with satalite television , DVD, Hi Fi, Fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven and hob etc. Bed linen and towels are provided. A bar area is also available for your use. Full central heating is installed for anyone looking for a Winter break. During the summer months you will have use of the pool and equipment including sun beds, parasol etc.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
La Drova has a typical Mediterranean climate, there are approximately three thousand hours of sunshine each year. The gentle temperatures provide an ideal year round climate with mild winters and delightful springs, further north the thermometers plummet and further south the summer heat can be unbearable. Those with a thirst for histoy may visit nearby Gandia or Xativa with their ancient links to the powerful Borgia family with its Renaissance saints and sinners. For history, art and cutting edge modern architecture, a day trip to Valencia is a must. Visit Calatrava's stunning City of Arts and Sciences, the bustling Art Nouveau Market, the largest and most diverse in Europe,the Gothic cathedral containing the Holy Grail, Bull Ring, and throw in some retail therapy in the prestigious shopping quarter. Nature lovers will revel in the vast wetlands of nearby Albufera, a bird lovers paradise set among rice paddy fields and waterside restaurants serving authentic paella in the location where it was invented.
Gandia / Barx area
Barx is situated in the high valley of La Safor, between the mountain ranges of Buixcarro and Monduver, at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level, and enjoys a pleasant climate. Barx forms part of the community of the Validigna 'Mancomunidad de la Validigna' made up of the villages of Tavernes, Simat, Benifairo and Barx. A territory with its own identity, united by common history. Our house is situated in the centre of La Drova approx. 4 min drive (20min walk) from the village of Barx with its many bars and shops including two small supermarkets, butchers, bakers, tobacconist, bank, chemist etc. There is a bar/restaurant just around the corner from our apartment which is renowned for its Paellas and meat dishes.

Further details indoors: There are two sets of golf clubs and trolleys in the apartment if required. Please let us know before your arrival if they are needed. Satalite Television is installed in the apartment. Free to view programs only.
Conditions
A 25% deposit is required on booking with the balance paid within 6 weeks of the arrival date. For late bookings the total amount must be paid in full on booking. Guests are strongly advised to take out a holiday insurance at the time of booking, as these charges are non-returnable. Not suitable for children.
