This tranquil park is set in a wooded area, surrounded by beautiful mountains, in the village of Rugat. True Spanish living in a peaceful picturesque area on an English run park with all modern facilities. Only 2 miles from the nearest town and just 15 minutes drive to the popular resort of Gandia with its extensive shopping and fabulous sandy beaches.
The park features modern Bar / Restaurant, supermarket, lovely swimming pool and a large natural fishing lake along with childrens play area and petanca court.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Valencia Province region
The Costa Blanca is famed for its beautiful beaches and all year round warm weather. The Park has the best of both worlds with the beaches of Gandia only 15 minutes drive away yet being surrounded by beautiful mountains and countryside.
Valencia city centre is less than 1 hour away and is steeped in history. Valencia has more than 30 museums including the City of Arts and Sciences which is reported to be the best of its type in Europe. A 'Valencia Tourist Card' can be purchased from 9€ a day which includes all free public transport within the city of Valencia and upto 50% discount in museums. Valencia also has a fantastic shopping centre with large department stores and small boutiques in the trditional 'shopping centre' and numerous shopping malls on the outskirts of the city.
In the opposite direction, you can visit Denia, Javea, Moriara, Altea or Benidorm. All of them are less than 1 hour drive.
The famous theme park - Terra Mitica - is less than an hours drive away and discount tickets can be bought at the office. Also found in the Benidorm area are Mundomar, which is a sea-life park, Terra Natura, a large safari park and Aqualandia, a water park which is open from aprox. Easter until October.
The Gandia / Rugat area
Gandia has long golden beaches and is fast becoming a very popular holiday resort with plenty of English bars and entertainment.
If you prefer the quiet life then you will definitely prefer the small Spanish villages surrounding the Park. Wander through the village of Rugat with its narrow streets or sit and have a coffee in the 'plaza' at castello.

The home is situated about 45 mins drive from Valencia airport or 80 mins drive from Alicante airport. Both Ryanair and Easyjet have regular flights to both of these airports from many different destinations in England.
The Park is about 20mins from the A7/E15 (the motorway from Northern France to Southern Spain) if you are driving there.

We arrived late but were met by the manageress and made welcome. The following morning I made a comment to her before going out but when we arrived back later the problem had been rectified and we had the same attention to detail all week. In short, nothing was too much trouble which made our stay most enjoyable. |
