A few minutes' drive from Jerusalem, near the historic fortress in Castel National Park, we offer two new apartments, with a special atmosphere combining art, mountain landscapes, tranquility and splendid fresh air, fully equipped for either short or long stays.
With a lovely mountain view, the apartments are designed in modern style, inspired by the artistic spirit of the hosts Rivka and Yuval Peled, who are both artists – a married couple with children and grandchildren.
Each unit consists of a bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a toilet and shower, and offers free WIFI internet and air-conditioning.
The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chests, reading lamp, and cable TV.
The kitchen is equipped with a kitchen cabinet, dining table with four chairs, refrigerator, microwave, oven, electric stove, toaster, electric kettle, pots, pans, and every utensil we thought would be needed to enjoy a pleasurable cooking, serving and eating experience.
The living room contains two single comfortable sleeper armchairs and a small coffee table.
One unit has a balcony with a garden table and chairs. The guests of the other unit have the use of a garden table and chairs in the beautiful Jerusalem-style yard.
The apartments are decorated with some of our artworks; we will be glad to show more of our art to interested guests.
Our location provides the opportunity of enjoying both the "one and only" Jerusalem, and other close sites located within a short drive. We are ten minutes away from the main entrance to Jerusalem, fifteen minutes from the historic and exotic Ein-Karem neighborhood, and five minutes from the village of Abu-gosh, with its oriental restaurants. Even Tel Aviv is closer than you might have thought – only 40 minutes by car or bus.
Just go out the door and you can walk in the surrounding hills, in fields, vineyards, orchards, and a vast variety of beautiful natural landscapes. The area is full of popular marked trails. The Sataf reservation, the Wind Mountain, (in winter) the dam of Beit Zait, and other springs and beautiful vista points are all around.
Our place is ideal for a tranquil stay combined with touring the unique city of Jerusalem. From time to time you can easily hop over to the hectic Tel Aviv – the city that never sleeps.
The accommodations are suitable both for a long term stay and for enjoying the area for just a few days only.
