Hi Peter,
Just to let you know that we are now back home in the UK after having a delightful time in your lovely flat at Pine Lodge. Everything was just fine with the flat being clean and tidy, new bedding left for us and the heating on when we arrived. We found the flat was really well kitted out with everything we needed to hand. Ski hire available in the basement at sensible pricing really was handy.
So, in summary, we had a lovely time and thought the flat was really fine. I will be sure to go on to Trip Advisor and give you a very well-deserved, glowing write-up. We were most impressed with the booklet you have put together for your flat and learned quite a few things about the place we were unaware of previously.
Once again, many thanks for such good communications throughout the stay and I am sure that we will be in touch again the next time we go out to Bulgaria with John and Caroline.

This is just to let you know we vacated 17 Pine Lodge this morning as we are taking in Batak and Bansko on route thru to Sofia in readiness for our flight on Saturday.

great ski apartment in the mountains
The stay we had in Pinelodge was very relaxing, the apartment was very cosy and comfortable perfect place to come back to after a hard days walking/skiing.
It was within walking distance of one of the chair lifts which took you to the top of the mountain/ski domain. Good skiing with a decent choice of pistes, and some fantastic views at the top.
There is a restaurant next door and also one within the building with great food and friendly staff.
Within driving distance of the nearest town for shopping a car is handy although taxis are super cheap so car not essential.
All in all a great value stay in Bulgaria

Back again for more of this beautiful unspoilt part of the world, undiscovered by so many. We visited Momchill Fortress this time & what some spectacular vies we had of Bulgaria from there. Looking at returning maybe over Christmas. Thank you Greta once again.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful and relaxing stay at Pine Lodge. It was everything you had said and more.......fantastic scenery, people and beautiful apartment, so homely and modern too and so clean. Bulgaria is a country with vast diversity and Cos and i can't wait to re visit in the winter months to sample the snow and picturesque scenery and have a go at skiing. If anyone reads this, we would thoroughly recommend a few night caps just up the road at the local Mexaha where you will meet Sonia & Emil - wonderful hospitable people.

Had a last minute week free & lucky Pete & Greta could accommodate us again. We never tire of this wonderful place. Log fires up the road enjoying time with Sonia & Emil, cold but bright winter days & lovely & warm in No 17 - so so comfortable. Walked up through the forestry in ever deepening snow to the top of the Snejanka - what a wonderful invigorating walk that was followed by a great Lunch in the "Eagles Nest" on top. The chair lift down revealed wonderful views of Pine Lodge in the distance. Many thanks once again.

Last here December 07, lovely to see the different seasons in such a beautiful spot. Great place to be with the air so clean & healthy. The local Mexaha just 2 mins away served up great food (and cheap).

First time here and what a wonderful place this is. Very cold outside with the Skiing excellent. Lovelly inside the apartment after a day on the Piste - no queue's for passes & ski hire just up the road - brilliant. We will be back hopefully one summer.

Skiing, cycling, walking, fishing, hunting, bird watching, or if you are there just to relax and enjoy the tourism locally then there is also plenty of info on caves, the local area, monastries, bridges, villagies, local customs, music, restaurants .................The list is endless.

We really can offer a beautifully finished luxury second floor, self catering apartment in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains. Comprising 1 spacious double bedroom, lounge, Kitchen, Bathroom with shower and private balcony overlooking the pine forests and private garden.

Our apartment is fully furnished to a very high standard with central heating, Satellite TV, DVD/CD player, with the lounge doors opening out onto the balcony. A well equipped kitchen, with full oven & hob, fridge freezer, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots, & pans. Sleeps max 4 persons, 2 in double bedroom with plenty of storage space and 2 on a comfortable sofa bed. All linen is provided. The bathroom is well equipped with a shower , wash hand basin & toilet. Bath towels are provided. The apartment has it's own secure ski locker in the basement. On site parking and BBQ.There is a lounge area with a bar on the ground floor, where you can relax and enjoy a drink after a hard days skiing. Located in the basement is a luxurious spa with Jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, shock showers, relax zone, massages - all types, including chocolate, mud and honey massages.
NB: Lounge & Spa facilities are subject to completion & staffing levels.

To the rear of Pine Lodge, in amongst the pines is a parking area specifically for No 17 and a nice fenced & landscaped garden for your enjoyment. Our balcony & bedroom windows overlook this garden.
If you are there in the summer, why not enjoy a picnic or barbecue in the garden whilst the kids can be amused playing in the sand pit or on the swing.

Stepping out of our front door you can step out on to a balcony and enjoy superb views amongst the pines of Ther Rocks and the No 4 ski lift, clearly viisible, going up to the Snejanka Peak.
In easy walking distance, 2 of Smolyans lakes can be visited, why not take a bottle of wine & chill out?
