Cara is the ground floor apartment of the Garden House and is the oldest house on the estate

It is set in lush tropical gardens, surrounded by trees and farmland

it is perfect for young children to play

there is a walled garden to the rear of the Garden House, which has a childrens climbing frame

While away a peaceful hour or so, in the tranquil and cosy lounge and watch the pheasants outside

the well-stocked kitchen and dining area also look out to the gardens

the master bedroom is on the ground floor, creating easy access

the large hallway also provides a peaceful reading area, just outside the bedrooms

during your stay, its a must to go to the beach for a spot of 'crabbing' or beach-combing

or just simply play in the sand

the climbing frame in the walled garden is a favourite with our younger visitors

Springtime brings lots of new residents to the farm!

there are 5,000 acres to explore, including lochs, forests and heather-clad hillsides

our local harbours and villages provide lots to see and do

and there are plenty of historical places to visit, such as Skipness Castle

throughout the summer months, there are lots of festivals, events and highland games on in the area

For the more energetic, there are fantastic routes for cycling or walking

or perhaps you'd like to try horseriding at one of the three local centres

wildlife abounds on the estate and we regularly have seals, otters, deer,seabirds and other visitors
