Villa Limeri forms the basis of a lifelong memory and is made of the stuff that any celebrity or noncelebrity seeks to find peace, quiet, and that feeling of "separateness" (why else do people own islands and estates?). Yes, there is a road, since it is 15 km away from the main town of Rethymnon, but that's how you get to Villa Limeri....once there it is as if no road had ever reached the place. Eclectic in design and architecture this has the modern version of a "great hall", yet none of the darkness of an old mansion, it is all exposed to the magic healing light we get so much of in Crete. In the middle of the flora and fauna, the massive mountains, the small trees and shrubs, the fragrant plants and herbs, the dramatic rocks to every side - far away from people, your view is open, and the air is clear. The land area devoted to the house is large (20 hectares), but you benefit from the extension of this all into the underpopulated hills beyond. Sit and think, write a paper, start a novel, or go for a walk in the so many different paths that someone can take. Going inside this 280 sqm villa there is a great-hall-sized living with spectacular views of inland Crete, a dining and kitchen area, and a 20sqm balcony. Then still on the ground floor, a unique modern stone and wood-inspired bathroom. Opposite you will find one of the bedrooms and up the open wood stairs to a gallery corridor leading into the other 2 bedrooms and one smaller bathroom. There is no air conditioning in the living room but only in the bedrooms, as Villa Limeri's 420 m altitude and well-angled position keep things cool. Or If you want to be a bit more cool, you can head down to the swimming pool. The name "Limeri", for your interest and perhaps descriptive of its qualities means a "haunt" or "refuge" and for others means 'a retreat', or 'lair' (as in pirate's or fox's lair) in GreekOther Facilities are: fireplace, central heating, mini HiFi, flat screen TV, DVD player, High-speed internet connection and a fully equipped kitchen with gas, a dishwasher, fridge, and washing machine. Mountain biking and hiking or if you are a bird-watching enthusiast, bring your binoculars as Villa Limeri's position/location is ideal for this kind of sport!

Important notice: The villa is not suitable for kids under 12 years old.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Starting from January 1st, 2024 there is a new "environmental tax/fee" that the guests will have to pay for each day of their stay in our country according to the following schedule:

- From March to October, the rate of 10 Euros per day should be paid in cash on arrival.

- From November to February the amount of 4 Euro per day should be paid in cash on arrival.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
