If you are looking for a special rural escape in la France profonde, Le Laurier is the perfect location. Set in the heart of the Diege valley in the Midi Pyrenees region of south west France surrounded by farms, rivers and dense woodland, an area ideal for walking, bird-watching and star-gazing. The converted 19th century stone barn is located across the courtyard from the main house and has been thoughtfully furnished to provide maximum comfort for two guests. On the first floor, a large sitting room with deep sofas, an extensive library of books, DVDs and CDs. The mezzanine bedroom has a king sized bed with 100% cotton bedlinen, an air conditioning unit and plenty of cupboard space. On the ground floor there is a shower room and toilet, and a cool airy kitchen/diner which leads to a flower-filled courtyard. The secluded breakfast area catches the morning sun, and the wisteria-draped terrace is ideal for shady lazing. The mature garden is full of secret places to sit and relax with sun loungers and a garden shower. Guests are invited to help themselves to produce from the organic potager and tiny orchard. After a day of discovery - there are many medieval towns and villages, vineyards, markets and a stunning river-laced valley to explore - Le Laurier is the ideal place for relaxing. There are bars and restaurants within a 15 minute drive. If you are looking for something special you will find it here.

Why can't I call Kathryn (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kathryn (the owner) a message.

If Kathryn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
