The Treehouse is based on an Australian design,and is elevated to maximise the views of the Cairngorm Mountains in the Scottish Highlands.

The high level deck is the perfect vantage point for birdwatching,spotting the red squirrels high in the surrounding trees, or al fresco meals in the fresh air and sunshine - no midges here! And, on a clear night,you can sit out here with a glass of whisky, and enjoy the most amazing view of the starry sky.

The lodge is set amongst pine and birch woodland, overlooking the Strathspey Steam Railway line,( steam trains only,no mainline service!) and the renowned Boat of Garten Golf course.

We provide birdfood for birdwatchers, wellies for walkers, and a spacious comfy lounge if you just want to relax and enjoy the peace and the view.

The kitchen is so well equipped, there's even a food processor, and juicer, AND plenty recipe books for inspiration!

The Treehouse is in the picturesque village of Boat of Garten,in the Cairngorm National Park, just a few miles north of Aviemore, and only 2.5 hours drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Local shops and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away.

Pets are welcome, and our prices include all fuel, logs, electricity, bedlinen and towels.

Why can't I call Anne (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Anne (the owner) a message.

If Anne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
