Hi Kelly , many thanks for your review , the reason we bought the house was for its location to everything you have mentioned , the parks , eateries Old Town and not forgetting Wal-Mart , we try and keep on top of the condition of the home as we ( before we bought our own ) have stayed in some places in Florida that we definitely didn't want to return to and hopefully our experience of those has translated into our home being what guests really want ( for me its just the pool ) Once again many thanks for staying with us and hopefully you will return at some point regards Ian Burgess

Hello , I can imagine , not the sort of thing you want on holiday , however that is the reason you were given the management company details by myself , also listed in the Welcome Book in the house so that they can deal with any problems , if you had called the management company they would have sent someone out , dealt with the issue and you could have continued on with your day without any worries . just so you are aware someone had struck the gas main earlier and over 100 homes were affected . you are the first guest we have had that found the beds uncomfortable and we have have hundreds of guests stay with us through TripAdvisor , I think all reviews are 5 Star hence being awarded TripAdvisors " TRAVELLERS CHOICE award of 2020 " we do our best but I guess we can't please everyone all the time which is a shame . as for the missing sheets we have have been through this via TripAdvisor , all I can say is that on an inventory check they were there in the laundry closet prior to your arrival and missing following another inventory check on your departure ( management inventory check ) I can only go by what I am told , I am not able to check these things for myself as I am 4500 miles away , you say the " villa provided some amenities " I would be interested in what else you think could be provided for guests as this is a fully equipped house , hopefully you left some comments in the provided guest book for just this reason ,many thanks Ian Burgess

Why can't I call Ian (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
