This period property is a first-floor apartment that is over a hundred years old. It has been beautifully restored and furnished. It is ideal for a family.

The Master bedroom is a bright and spacious room with zip-n-link beds and can be set up with a king-size bed or two singles, depending on your requirement. It has a seating area for you to enjoy the afternoon/evening sun. You might also want to explore the book case with a good variety of books. There is a floor-to-ceiling cupboard providing great storage.

The second bedroom has full-size bunk beds and a double wardrobe. It faces south-west, too.

There is a small but nicely fitted shower room with a sink, corner shower, WC and built in storage.

The lounge is furnished with a sofa that folds down into a double bed. There is a bookcase with books and various games. Wall mounted Smart TV. The feature fireplace houses a coffee table and has mood lighting. The dining area has a round table with 4 chairs. The further chairs are in the large storage cupboard in the hall.

We have a newly fitted modern kitchen with a gas hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer compartment, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and a good selection of pots and crockery.We provide essentials for a cuppa on arrival.

The apartment is in the heart of Aberdour, just a few minutes' walk to all amenities. Aberdour Castle, an Outlander film location, is 5 minutes' walk away.

For stays longer than 1 week please enquire. Our rates are very competitive and include all charges for up to 6 people. Cleaning charges added for single night bookings are £100.

We do not charge for minor breakages as long as you inform us.

We take a damage GPB 200 that will be refunded in full as soon as the department has been checked after your departure. We will not charge for minor breakages as long as you let us know.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gertrud (the owner) a message.

If Gertrud (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
