Balmoral overlooks the beach, Penmon lighthouse, Puffin Island and Anglesey. Perfect for touring Snowdonia.Balmoral holiday apartment is a 140 year old recently renovated spacious (100sq.m) two bedroom apartment which was formally part of a Victorian Seaside Hotel. It looks across the Lavan Sands towards Puffin Island and Anglesey. We are less than 100 yards from the beach. We had a sighting earlier this year of a pod of porpoise from the lounge window. The apartment has 2 bedrooms. Visit Wales had graded Balmoral as a 4 star accommodation. A fully fitted kitchen with a washer, fridge, cooker, Wi-Fi enabled etc. Llanfairfechan is situated between Llandudno and Bangor it is a quiet coastal village and is ideally placed for touring Snowdonia. 2 hours gets you to Manchester, Liverpool, or Dublin on the fast ferry from Holyhead. We are 500yds from Llanfairfechan Railway Station. Snowdonia offers something for everyone with a wealth of history and 5 world heritage sites close by. Spectacular mountains, a walkers paradise. Many great golf courses. Fishing. The oldest language in Europe. The recently developed coastal paths and cycle tracks have opened up much more for the visitor. Private garden to the rear.

Bedrooms: One double bed, room looking over the mountains on the second floor. One second twin bedroom on the ground floor. 2 single beds again overlooking the mountains at the rear of the property. Bathrooms: A bathroom with a new power shower. WC and sink. NO BATH. Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, slow cooker, fridge, washer, blender, dishwasher, pans, casserole dishes etc. Our kitchen is fully equipped. The kitchen door opens to the private garden. Utility Room: We have a small office room for visitors to use. The property has wi-fi access throughout. Living Rooms: The living room has panoramic sea views towards Puffin island Penmon lighthouse and the beach. The room is beautifully decorated with quality comfortable furniture. Modern HD TV. A photograph of a local beach hangs over the fireplace. Other: Our dining room looks over the garden which has a bed settee. The room has hi-fi with radio CD tape players. The room contains local paintings and photographs. Cleaning/towels/ linen/ service: Bed linen and towels are included. Please open all windows, prior to leaving at 10am, we are trying to protect our cleaning staff leaving one hour of air circulation prior to them starting work.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Gerard (the owner) a message.

If Gerard (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
