Nearby villages provide for your immediate needs, while the regional centre of Riberac offers hypermarkets and a range of specialty shops, and is well known for its huge Friday market. The art deco Café des Colonnes (1831) is a local institution and popular meeting place.

La Dependance is normally let Saturday to Saturday from April to October. Management is under an English (French speaking) couple who live nearby.

The front door of La Dependance opens onto a spacious foyer with wrought iron staircase leading to upstairs accommodation. The foyer also gives access to a second downstairs bedroom with twin beds.
Upstairs, the original loft is dramatic, spacious and light filled. The timber beams, many the shape of the original tree, are fastened without nails in a fashion dating back to the 11th century. A south facing double glazed wall bathes the interior in sunshine and light.
Here, an open plan salon divides into four, with a tete a tete area, an area with settee and armchairs, a quiet reading/writing space, plus a dining area. There is a well equipped kitchen with all new electric appliances. At the far end is a double bedroom and separate bathroom with dressing room and generous shower recess.
The downstairs foyer also gives access to a modern, new living room with lounge chairs and dining table particulalry suited to relaxed entertaining, with large double doors opening to the outside. There is a 2nd refrigerator and microwave here, and a washing machine and dryer. The new 3rd bedroom has a king size bed and there is a 2nd bathroom with shower and toilet alongside.
There is electric central heating throughout and ample drawer and hanging space. There is satellite TV on both floors with DVD downstairs. A selection of board games, CDs and books, including comprehensive guide literature, is provided.

The roof top terrace, accessed via an internal timber staircase, is equipped with lighting and out door furniture enabling you to relax and dine alfresco morning till night.
