Edinburgh Castle is about a 20 minute walk from our flat

Calton Hill is 10 minute walk from the flat and has some of the most amazing views of the city

Princes Street Gardens are in the middle of the city

Greyfriars Kirk in the Old Town is well worth a visit including the extensive graveyard

There are plenty of traditional British pubs nearby - The Cask and Barrel is a five minute walk

Broughton Street, a five minute walk away, is full of boutique and specialist shops
