From the owner

Gower View Penthouse is a 5 * duplex self catering beachfront holiday apartment with the most amazing views. It has a light, spacious open plan kitchen living area with full-length glass balconies on both sides and a large master bedroom with en suite. It is tastefully furnished and has porcelain tiled floors throughout.

It has spectacular views of the beach and sea and the stunning sunsets are to die for! It is a brilliant location for family holidays with a choice of child friendly beaches. It is a wildlife haven and provides a wide range of activities, restaurants, places to visit and sports particularly golf, with 17 courses less than 30 miles away. It is a 15 minute drive from Ffos Las Racecourse.

The penthouse is accessed from the third floor of the apartment block, there is NO LIFT from the ground floor to front door of the penthouse.

The open-plan living room has separate areas for dining and sitting for 6 people. The dining area balcony gets the morning sun – perfect for breakfast, the seaside balcony has the sun from late morning onwards and is the ideal place to view the magnificent sunsets with a cool glass of wine. There is a smart TV, a home cinema sound system, a DVD player, a selection of DVD's and BT Infinity wireless broadband.

The kitchen has a ceramic hob with cooker hood over, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. You will find the cupboards stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and conditioner, foil and cling film.

All the bedrooms have electric wall radiators. The beds are made up for your arrival with fresh, crisp linen and there is a choice of summer and winter duvets. Hand, bath and beach towels are provided.

The master bedroom has patio doors opening onto a balcony overlooking the sea. It has a king sized bed and a wonderful view to wake up to! There is a smart TV, a walk-in wardrobe and hair dryer. It has an en suite with a spacious power shower, basin, wc, wall heater and heated towel rail.

The second and third bedrooms both have twin beds and plenty of storage with fitted wardrobes and drawer space.

The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, wc, basin, wall heater and heated towel rail. In both bathrooms you will find hand wash, shower gel, bath foam and loo rolls.

There are full-length balconies on both sides of the kitchen/living area with balcony furniture and a smaller balcony for the master bedroom.

The penthouse is just 40 metres from the soft, sandy beach at the mouth of the estuary of the river Loughar. The tide goes out a long way so the beach provides a large play area for children. There is a communal lawn area outside the penthouse, parking permits for 2 cars and bike storage sheds.

There is a restaurant and gelateria just 4 mins walk from the penthouse.

The night storage heater in the hallway is left on from Oct 1 to March 31. If you turn on any of the other wall heaters or the electric towel rails in the bathrooms please turn them off before you leave.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sally (the owner) a message.

If Sally (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
