Hibiscus House is ideal for a family holiday or for couples searching for that memorable beach holiday. Situated in a quiet residential area, Pentire, with the golden sands of Fistral Beach one minutes walk away. Surfing lessons are available at discounted prices with one of Cornwall's longest standing Surf Schools. Approximately 1 mile west of the town centre, Newquay is the ideal location for a wide variety of holiday pursuits. For walking enthusiasts the North Cornwall coastal paths and the beautiful AONB of the Gannel Estuary are less than five minutes walk away. If Golf is your sport, Newquay Golf course is a short stroll away.Nearby amenities include a local shop, selling newspapers, just to the right, family pubs, cafes and several restaurants within walking distance.Hibiscus House offers secure storage, ample parking and a south facing garden that receives the sun all day long. If the beach does not beckon you then the decked and furnished garden can be enjoyed at your leisure. The south facing garden offers you the chance to follow the sun! This property does not have child locks on the kitchen doors nor windows. The stairwell and banisters have no child security so please be vigilant.This property is non-smoking and pet free. There is WiFi but can be intermittent in peak season. We do not provide towels. Due to location please respect neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

We have all fire safety standards in place and ask all guests to read and sign the fire safety document so they are clear what to do in case of a fire. I live next door but one so am always on hand to help. This is not suitable for single gender groups. Please contact me half hour before arrival to collect keys. We are committed to the health and well being of our guests and have undertaken vigorous training to ensure your protection, as far as reasonably possible, against Covid 19. Duvets and pillows will be changed after each guest to ensure your safety. From July 13th to Sept 7th we only accept week long stays. Check in Saturdays only in peak season.

House rules

The shed beyond the garden fence is used by myself. We ask guests to leave the house as they found it and to strip the beds when they leave. We have a changeover check out list which will be sent to you before you book so you can see where all the local amenities are etc. We have all fire safety standards in place and ask all guests to read and sign the fire safety document so they are clear what to do in case of a fire. We dont allow BBQ's , candles or fireworks

Great Vacation. 23 Pentire spotlessly clean in a first class location, 5 minutes walk to Fistral beach and 15 minutes walk to Newquay town centre. Ideal for families and/ or Surfers and great value.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Frances (the owner) a message.

If Frances (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
